For a business to flourish, owners make people aware of it. To do that, they try different strategies to spread the word about their business. One person came up with their unique way and no, they did not put up a social media post, a newspaper advertisement, or even flyers. They stapled their real estate business card on the Uber Eats order they deliver. He attaches the card to all his food orders. Many videos about delivery persons attaching goodie bags and other things to get tips have been going viral, but this is an innovation to advertise one's business. In a video uploaded by the Winnipeg-based real estate agent Ryan Smith—who goes on TikTok by @ryansmithrealtor2—he shared how he is spreading the word about his business.

"Sometimes you have to get creative!" he captioned the slideshow. His idea got different responses from different people. Some found it creative and out of the box, while others did not find it professional. However, most of the viewers were appreciative of this idea and how he was advertising his business. People have showered the video with 464.5K views, 14.6K likes and many comments.

One TikTok user, @alaynemerr, commented, "I don't see the problem here. Just throw it out if you don’t want it, lol! I respect his devotion." @user754457 wrote, "Ignore the haters!!! This is an awesome idea, why are people so angry over a tiny piece of paper? It's so smart & creative." @caamix3 mentioned, "People are so full of hate. I have a RE license and do multiple things on the side. If you're not looking for multiple streams of income that's on you."

@lexxiicola wrote, "I would just do the cards, not the note you don't want to conflict with Uber policies." @poppwkwiwjankqn expressed, "A fantastic idea!!! Some people need to mind their business and learn to support people." @muzzaaak, "Good idea, but instead of stapling it to the order (which seems to trigger people in the comments), put the ad in front of their door or in the mailbox."

Some people disagreed with the strategy as well. @kelsss.sss shared, "I think there might be some better ways to market yourself, but I like your creativity and hustle!" @jordanjernigann chimed in saying, "This is a great idea. I DoorDash and you truly come across all types of people. Keep up the hustle, it’ll all be worth it in the end!!" @natyandwill said while inspiring the TikTok user, "Keep up! My friend got a job deal doing this! Never stop trying no matter what others say."

Creative advertising can really spread the word about a business and even make it prosper. Harvard Business Review research revealed how creativity matters in attracting consumers and how companies can increase their reach and effectiveness among customers through creative ads. It is precisely what this delivery person did. What is even more commendable is how they managed to have a full-time job and also tried to run their business. Many people on the internet appreciated their hard work, creativity, and hustle. As for the people who disagreed with Smith, even they appreciated his efforts.
