A content creator’s e-trike karaoke guest stuns with her voice, turning an ordinary ride into an unforgettable show.
While we are all chasing personal and professional goals, many of us forget to enjoy the fun and lively moments that help keep our inner child alive. Craving for some form of entertainment is completely normal, especially in today’s environment where most people are stressed out due to sedentary lifestyle choices. To give a dosage of happiness, a content creator took a unique route by bringing karaoke to the streets. Hailing from Los Angeles, Alanna Malicdem-who goes by @etrikekaraoke on Instagram, recently had a guest on her e-trike singing show resulting in an unexpected and mind-boggling performance.
The video creator driving her fancy electric three-wheeler on the streets of LA stopped before the woman named "MXM Toon," who also happened to be a singer. Alanna asked the random pedestrian if she would like to give karaoke a shot in exchange for $20. Following this, the resident of Oakland, California seemed reluctant but finally agreed to Alana's request. Before heading for the fun ride, they both had a small chat discussing singing.
Moreover, Alanna even teased MXM, bringing up the latter’s native place. “Usually when I have someone from the Bay Area, they say that really loud,” Alana remarked. To this, the woman simply responded by repeating the name of her hometown loudly. Thereafter, the content creator asked MXM to rate her singing.
The most anticipated question: “Wait! How do you rank your singing on a scale of 1 to 10?” prompted MXM to give herself a “solid 8.” As the duo hopped on the e-trike, upon being asked about her favorite song, the woman suggested she’d love to sing an old-school yet still relevant rock number. She went on to reveal it would be “Chop Suey” originally produced by the heavy metal band “System Of A Down” in the early 2000s.
“Okay! Let's rock and roll,” said Alanna, without wasting any further time beginning the ride through the commercial area of the city. Sitting in the back seat, MXM also started with her amazing singing leaving a smile on the content creator’s face. “Wake up. Grandma, we should put on a little makeup. How'd you go to fade away the shake-up?” sang the woman donning the casual outfit with her arms filled with tattoos. Her voice felt no less than that of a rock star with a powerful tone and dynamic variations, all spurred out at the right timing.
During the one-minute-and-six-second seconds clip, Alanna was seen enjoying the moving karaoke performance that she momentarily started lip-syncing it. However, her concentration was all on driving the elegant electric three-wheeler equipped with a mike, a selfie stick, and one stand to hold the beverages. Additionally, the makeshift karaoke attempt received a thumbs up on social media, garnering 463K likes and over 6,000 comments. Reacting to it, @carolberaja wrote, “The singer’s style doesn't match her song choice. I love it!” @rtaverasv added, “She’s a 10, but she enjoys listening to and singing songs by System of a Down, which makes her a 100.” “The theatre kid came out on that chorus,” lauded @lunamoor_. Others called the entire setup an “absolute entertainment.”
