Malakai Bayoh gave a stunning performance that not only moved the audience but also received a standing ovation from the judges.
It's amazing how some people have the potential to stir souls with their voices. While a few talents have been identified and have made their way to the top, the world still has several undiscovered music prodigies. The "Got Talent" crew is one of the trailblazers in finding and publicizing such talents and has been giving the world some of its most favorite artists for almost two decades. This year "Britain's Got Talent" uncovered a musical genius named Malakai Bayoh who dazzled the audience with flawless high-note singing and received a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell right away.

The London-based 13-year-old appeared for the show's audition in April this year and was accompanied by his mom and sister. "My big dream is to be a singer. I started singing at 7," said Bayoh to the BGT team and added jokingly, "My mom made me join the choir because she's very bossy." The teenager is pretty close to his mom and mentioned that she's his biggest fan. Proud of her son auditioning for the show, the elated mom said, "Malakai is a sweet child. He plays tough but he's very emotional. When he's on that stage I'm just going to be pinching myself."

Bayoh's mom was 'petrified' as he was about to perform and said, "It scares me because, on his very first show, somebody heckled him. It was gutting to think that someone would boo a child on stage because it could've knocked his confidence completely." Contrary to his mom's fear, Bayoh set the stage on fire singing an angelic rendition of "Pie Jesu" and the entire crowd was awestruck by his beautiful voice. As the soprano ended his song, the audience as well as the judges gave him a standing ovation. Simon Cowell had just one word to say and it was "Golden Buzzer" sending him straight to the semi-finals of the show.

"One of the best voices I've ever heard. For someone your age this is amazing," appreciated Cowell. The other judges, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon, called Bayoh's performance "flawless" and "heavenly." His angelic voice made the audience tear up and the judges thanked the teen for coming on the show. Bayoh went on to become one of the finalists of the show and signed a record deal with Universal Music. He recently released his new single, "Benedictus" from his album "Golden."

Bayoh's audition at the BGT went viral on social media and gained over 12k comments on YouTube. People loved the boy's impeccable singing and some musicians even commented on how perfectly he hit the high notes. "I'm a trained singer, and a music teacher by profession, and sang this song as a young performer myself. I can say with absolute certainty this is the most beautiful I've ever heard this song sung. Not only is he a TRULY gifted singer, he sings with poise. With proper technique, proper breathing, proper everything. His vowels are PERFECTION, the smoothness with which he sings is truly impeccable. The amount of control it takes to sing slowly, that high. This boy is truly a gift from God. Thank you for gracing our ears with your voice little one," wrote @mayacorinne878. "I've never had such a physical reaction to music before. And I get chills and goosebumps from a lot of music, but this gave me chills through my entire body like I have never felt before. I can't even explain it. Just breathtaking," wrote @MagPalp86.
