Identical twins test whether their toddlers and dogs can tell them apart — and it went as expected

Sammie Nowakowski and Stephanie Buckman are identical twins. Despite how similar they look, one would imagine that at least their families could tell them apart. However, that is true for most of their family members except Buckman's son Noah. In a cute video posted on their TikTok channel @thetoxtwins, Nowakowski and Buckman are seen sitting on the ground wearing the same black outfits with their arms open. Buckman is seated on the left, and Nowakowski on the right. In the first round, Noah runs to her mother but once they switch places, he gets confused and by the end of it, he looks more perplexed about whom to choose.

On the other hand, Nowakowski's daughter, Maddie, was able to choose her mother despite them switching places and so was the case with Buckman's dog who recognized her with her scent. The video has more than 40k views and is captioned, "Can our babies tell us apart?! We put it to the test." Many in the comments section loved the test.@tristarmy commented, "The only difference I see between you is your eyes are slightly different shapes and you have different smiles. But man it’s so close."@crews283 wrote, "The cutest thing ever!" @cwbysfn91 expressed, "Noah is like I don't know what is going on right now lol @Sammie & Steph."

The twins don't only look exactly the same, they also spend most of their days together as they work as aesthetic physician assistants at the same med spa and live on the same streets in Florida. Moreover, they are also building their dream homes next to each other, reports TODAY.

That's not all. The two even met their husbands on the same day on a mission and are parents to two 22-month-old toddlers. They were born three weeks apart. Even their golden retrievers are related and close in age. The two families will be moving to their new homes in November. Their husbands are best friends and also former roommates.

Jonathan Buckman told TODAY, “It has been so much fun doing life together because we are all very similar and get along. We all work in healthcare, had our babies three weeks apart and now we get to live next door to each other and raise our families side by side.”

Jake Nowakowski said that life is more convenient because they are always together. "What's better than living next to your best friends?" he asked.

The Buckmans and Nowakowskis want to grow their families further and the twins said that they look forward to having their babies at the same time again.

Talking about twins, a mom named Chelsea Torres is raising awareness about conjoined twins through her kids, Callie and Carter. She often shares pictures and videos of the two on social media. The kids—who are now six years old—are connected from the sternum down, and share a liver, intestinal tract and bladder, but have separate hearts and stomachs.

Often many such twins undergo separation surgery, the mom does not want that for her kids as they are "extremely risky." Moreover, Callie and Carter have never expressed a desire to be separated, and Torres notes that they “don't know any other way of life."

Despite the challenges of sewing clothes for them, Torres remains positive and focuses on the things that bring her joy. She notes that Callie and Carter have very different personalities, with Callie being “really girly” and Carter preferring to play video games with her nine-year-old brother.

The mom is hopeful about Callie and Carter's future, as they have each other to rely on.
