Husband's small yet considerate gesture for his wife shows how tiny actions matter the most

It is often the little gestures and small things a person does that show how much they love you. Monica Patterson, a content creator who goes by @monicagartner on TikTok, is lucky enough to have a husband who knows this. A video she shared online won hearts as it captured an adorable gesture her husband performed for her during a flight. In the clip, he can be seen ensuring that his wife does not end up having to touch wooden utensils as she hates the feel of it. 

In an 18-second video, Patterson's husband Sam can be seen covering one end of the wooden knife with aluminum foil on a flight so his wife does not have to feel the wood when she uses it to eat food. She later shows the fork she is holding, which is covered in foil from one side. The text overlay reads, "My husband knows that I hate the feeling of wooden utensils, so he improvised for me on our flight." The song, "What's a Soulmate?" can be heard playing in the background. 

The video is captioned: "My King" and has garnered about 3.6 million views on the platform. People loved what Sam did for his wife. @a.lujanloza commented, "We all talk about how wonderful Sam is, but I think Monica must be one in a million for two souls like this to connect." @elizabethmilton8 also thought that Sam was being considerate. "That is by far the sweetest, most considerate act of service I've seen anyone do for another person." @tzzz_3011 couldn't agree more. "I love this kind of relationship. They always take note of every little tiny thing about us that makes us comfortable."

The way Sam treats his wife shows how much he cares for her and doesn't mind doing small things that make her happy.

In another story, a man stood up for his wife when she was disrespected by his mother. The husband and wife wanted to do something special on Mother's Day for the man's mother, as she had lost her daughter six months ago. They planned a day full of his mom's favorite things, like her favorite ice cream, a restaurant and a scarf in her favorite color. They even compiled a video of the man's sister. However, things went south when they arrived at his mother's house and she told them that she didn't want the daughter-in-law in her house.

She made it clear that she only wanted her family around her. So, the son stood up for his wife and said that his wife was his family too. After the woman opened most of her gifts, she told her daughter-in-law that she was tired of her being there. The 24-year-old man wrote, "That was too much for me. I told Mom I should have left earlier, but I wanted to be understanding and supportive, but she had crossed a line and I was done." He then walked out of the house with his wife.
