The betrayal began when a mutual friend called Cina to ask if she'd seen her husband's WhatsApp status. "Hey, have you seen your husband's status? Who is that person on his status?" she questioned. Confused, Cina checked her phone but found nothing on his status. Her husband had cleverly blocked her from viewing the update. However, Cina's friend sent her a screen recording revealing a picture of another woman with a caption thanking her for celebrating Father's Day.
Cina had already been suspicious of her husband for months. She noticed he had suddenly changed his passwords and had been sleeping with his phone under the pillow. She also said that her husband had been liking other women's pictures on Instagram. To catch him red-handed, Cina asked for his MacBook password. "I knew that anything he's doing is going to be on his laptop because he lives on it. He guards it with his life," she explained.

Once inside his laptop, the full reality came crashing down when she opened his Instagram messages. Cina found extensive conversations between her husband and his mistress. He had even proposed to marry her. Shocked, she informed his mother before confronting her husband. She then asked him: "An affair? How's that going?" Predictably, her cheating husband immediately panicked, deleted all his messages, and tried to gaslight her. He then called his mistress to inform her that he'd been caught. Looking back at the situation, Cina said, "There is no trying to make it work. There is no gaslighting me with religion because in my case it was that."
