Men are not often used to getting flowers from their partners. However, when they do, they cherish it. Similarly, a Reddit user u/HeyJoe459 posted a picture of flowers and wrote, "My wife read somewhere that men only receive flowers at their funeral so now I get random flowers for no other reason than she loves me."
The husband loved the gesture that his wife had done for him. The post garnered more than 3k upvotes. Many on the social media platform were happy for the couple. u/SirWinstontheCat commented, "You both sound super loving and genuine. I wish you both nothing but love, prosperity and happiness in your continued lives together." u/daisydug commented, "Beautiful! Hopefully, you return this lovely gesture occasionally." u/dzeldaz commented, "This is very sweet. I don't know anything about flowers though, and it looks like there are grapes in there or something. I'd be tempted to eat them. Now I want grapes."
u/PYT_1173 commented, "I've gotten my man flowers before and took him out just because I associate him. He's not one that cares for flowers but it was the thought that counts." u/Unruly_Thanatos commented, "My wife does this too!!! She just did it this week actually. It makes me irrationally happy. I love her so much." u/blissfullytaken commented, "I always buy flowers for my husband. Usually for Valentine’s Day and his birthday or our anniversary but sometimes I buy some flowers to celebrate the small wins he has at work. He’s an amazing partner and I try to do whatever I can to make him smile."
In a similar story, a TikTok user @fonzian shared that he was thrilled to receive flowers on his first date in a while. He says in the video, "I went on my first day in four years this weekend. And the craziest thing happened. I got flowers. And not just any crappy flowers: they’re in a bouquet, in a mason jar. I was literally speechless. Like, what do I say? This is my first time getting flowers. Like, I don’t even know."
He goes on to show the beautiful white and violet flowers in a jar. He looks at them and then smiles. He then asks, "Is this what it feels like to get treated right? I’m not even a flower guy, but... I might be now."
The video has about 1.2 million views and is captioned, "Get your man flowers right now." Many on the social media platform could understand how Fonz was feeling. @spideys.archive commented, "Every guy turns into a flower guy after receiving them." @themusclemami commented, "He said 'I might be now,' this is so precious." @abbey.lara commented, "I got my boy flowers once, and he still talks about it to this day (girls if he’s the one, get HIM flowers)" @hunterthemenace commented, "My girl got me flowers on Valentine’s Day and I cried lmao. Ladies get ya man’s flowers it’ll mean more than ya think it does." @kgsw2 commented, "So crazy that’s unusual. I buy my husband flowers sometimes & I have for others as well." @catterpillartheory commented, "This is so cute!! My ex-husband always bought me flowers and when I bought him a bouquet of roses after his knee surgery he was soooo happy."
