Her husband confessed to 'affair' with a coworker — but when his wife called to confront her, the other woman had no idea what he was talking about

Cheating on a partner is not something most people would openly flaunt. However, Alexa's (@am0ra94) husband, Justin, did exactly that. Alexa had known since 2018 that their marriage was falling apart. Her gut feeling told her that her husband was cheating, but he never admitted it. One night, she found him smiling all by himself, confronted him, and he confessed. What she did not expect was that the following day, he would ask her if he could text the other woman using his personal number. Alexa decided to talk to the woman, but was confused by how the other woman described their relationship. The first video Alexa posted on June 16, 2026 received 38,300 views, 2,205 likes, and 33 comments.

Did not even wait for his son to turn one

Alexa revealed that Justin had cheated on her before, but when she became pregnant in 2016, she hoped it would be enough to stop him. Unfortunately, in January 2017, she miscarried, but became pregnant again a few months later. In November, she gave birth to a baby boy. However, before their son even turned one, she found out that Justin had already met someone else. For two years, she knew things were off, but he never admitted to cheating. He stopped interacting with her and the kids when he got home. Alexa was basically a single mother at this point. When she finally confronted him in October 2019, he confessed, "I like this girl at my work." That was when she knew their marriage was over.

The real, but confusing truth

Surprisingly, Alexa had been extremely calm after hearing the news. The next day, he asked, "Now that you know, can I text her off my personal number?"  Done with him at this point, she agreed. Two days after his confession, Alexa admitted it had finally begun to sink in. She told him to stop talking to the other woman and "respect" their marriage while she was still in the house. She made him call her on the loudspeaker, and the other woman said she did not "mean any of this to happen."

When the two women got on a private phone without Justin, Alexa found out they were just co-workers. "She's never once liked him. She's told him several times that." They did have a close friendship at work, but that was all it was. She had no intentions of being a stepmother (Justin has a daughter) or stealing Alexa's kids. Alexa finally understood that "he made everything up in his head... a woman can be nice to him, and suddenly he thinks there's a relationship there, and there's a chance for him."

Some would still stay after getting cheated on

A 2008 Gallup poll found that 54% of Americans know someone who has an unfaithful partner. Interestingly, the survey also revealed that 64% would not forgive a spouse for cheating on them. 62% would divorce their partner if they found out about an affair, and surprisingly, 31% revealed that they would stay. Alexa was once the latter, but now, she no longer wanted to stay in a marriage where she was disrespected.

A survey from the Institute for Family Studies found that 76% married respondents thought having a "secret emotional relationship" in real life is a form of cheating. After hearing the other woman's side of the story, Alexa realized there was nothing between them, except her husband being delusional.

Better late than never
