Husband bungles wife's adorable 'bun in the oven' pregnancy announcement in hilarious fail

Being pregnant and having kids is one of the greatest joys couples can experience. It is a feeling that cannot be compared to another. The feeling of bearing a child and seeing that kid grow up to resemble you and the love of your life in small ways—it's a feeling like none other. In a video posted by Liz Rose (@lizroseshort) on Instagram, she shows us how her pregnancy reveal failed. However, it did result in some beautiful memories nonetheless.

The overlay text on the video reads: "When you ruin your pregnancy announcement by forgetting the bun in the oven." The video is set in the kitchen and the husband begins by telling his wife that he loves her before asking her something very logical. He asks her why she put a single roll in the oven, to which she replies while controlling her laughter, "It isn't a roll." She then goes on to tell him what it is: "It's a bun." To that, the husband says a confused "Okay."

She then asks him, "What did you pull out of the oven?" The husband simply said that it was a burnt roll, but the woman kept disagreeing and saying that it was something else—it was a burnt bun. Then the man proceeds to agree and say that a burnt bun was in the oven. By now, viewers know that this was Elizabeth's plan to reveal her pregnancy to her husband, but he seemed to not be getting it, which led to Rose's uncontrollable laughter.

She then chooses to make things a little bit easier for him and ends up telling him the obvious. She says, "It's a bun in the oven." But the man is still just confused and tells his wife, "Baby, I just pulled it out." Elizabeth had had enough and she just ended up telling him the truth without filters. She told him that they were having a baby and the man's reaction was priceless. With a burnt bun in hand and utter shock on his face, his reaction incited more laughter from the wife. After asking her if they were having a kid, he rushed to go and embrace his wife with the widest smile ever.

The video has the cutest little caption, which reads, "Announcing our burnt roll." It has a lot of people commenting on it.
