There is no other love like those of parents and a man realized this when he got to reunite with his father after a long time. Eddie Thompson Ⅲ had struggled with homelessness for a long time and when he finally asked for help, a miracle happened, thanks to a non-profit organization. Thompson had always wanted to meet his son, Shay, for a long time and volunteers at Miracle Messages decided to fulfill his wish.

Miracle Messages helps unite people who struggle from homelessness to their families. Thompson had also written a note that mentioned how he was eager to meet his son. The note read, “I love you to death and have been trying to get in contact with you for years–Eddie."

Lindsay Pfeiffer of Miracle Messages heard him and decided to unite him with his son. After some days of finding Shay, Lindsay was finally able to locate him and let him know that his father wanted to meet him, as per Good News Network. For the last decade, he had also wanted to meet his father as they had separated after his high school graduation, but with each passing day, he had given up on the hope of seeing him again.

There was some relief in knowing that his father had also tried to find him and longed to meet him. Miracle Message gave them a second chance at their relationship and Shay could not have been more grateful. As for how he felt, Shay said it felt like he was on Oprah's show as it seemed “too miraculous to be real." Lindsay finally planned their meet and Eddie did not just see his son but also his granddaughter. Now, the father-son duo are catching up on the time they weren't together.

In another story about emotional reunions, Twitter user @XavierDimples shared how a firefighter named Jeff Ohs, who saved him from a house fire when he was 2 years old, met him years later again. Twenty-three years after the incident, he had a meet-up with Ohs and the fireman got to see how the life of the person he saved turned out to be. Dimples posted a picture of the fireman carrying him when he was 2 years old along with a photo of the recent meet-up with him, Dimples is seen smiling and holding his 2-year-old son while Ohs is looking at the child.

The pictures are captioned, "When I was 2 years old my house caught on fire and I was trapped inside, I ended up dying that day & this firefighter, Jeff Ohs, saved me from that building and brought me back to life. Now, 23 years later he is holding my 2-year-old son. I literally wouldn’t be here without him."

He mentioned what happened on the day of the fire in a subsequent tweet. "After I was resuscitated I was in a coma for a month after that. I could never repay him for giving me a chance at life, I can only live a great life for him and my son. I owe him my life," wrote Dimples. The post includes pictures of Ohs and other firefighters trying to save Dimples. Truly, reunions are special and they touch hearts in the most beautiful ways.
