'I got my life together, I'm in a shelter now. I saved some money and bought me some clothes. Got me shaved, haircut and everything,' says the man.
It's hard sometimes to believe that a small helping hand could make any substantial difference in anyone's life. But this homeless man is a perfect example of how a stranger's help can completely transform someone's life. In a video posted on Reddit, a man is seen having food when another individual walks up to him and asks: "Raymond, is that you?" The man instantly recognizes the newcomer and asks, "Bond?" When the individual confirms that he is Bond, Raymond excitedly states: "I haven't seen you in a while. How are you doing?" The pair share a hug before reminiscing about their previous interaction.
Later, Bond asks Raymond if he still has the note he gave him. Raymond honestly admits that he doesn't have the note. "Because you know I was sleeping in the trains," he says. However, he adds, he remembers every word on the note which read: "If you think about it every day, don't give up on it." Raymond adds, "I saved it for a month before I lost it on the train."
Later, he reflects on how his life has changed since Bond helped him. "I got my life together. I'm in a shelter now. I saved some money and bought me some clothes. Got me shaved, haircut and everything. I've been doing good. I even found me a job. They gave me the boots, the hat, the gloves and everything. Now, I found me a job. The only thing I'm waiting for is an Osha card."
While talking about the money that Bond gave him, Raymond says, "That helped me a lot, for real. I take it from my heart. That helped me a lot, man." The video ends with them hugging again and Raymond wiping his tears. The video has garnered over 18.6k upvotes on Reddit and is captioned, "Homeless man remembers the stranger who helped him."

A video shared on YouTube about five months ago shows how Bond helped Raymond. He first gave him a note and as Raymond didn't know how to read and write, he read it out to him: "If you think about it every day, don't give up on it."
After this, the homeless man shared that he was abandoned for 12 years. He also added that he doesn't have a family or any kids. "I've been on my own, you know?" he said before taking the note from Bond and keeping it with him. Before leaving, Bond gave him $500. "You are going to give me $500? Nah I don't believe that," said Raymond and walked ahead.
He then returned to the spot and said, "If it's really for me, then give it to me." Bond instantly handed it over to him and Raymond started crying and saying: "I have had nobody help me the way you have right now."
Bond hugged him before leaving and saying, "God bless you." Raymond replied, "God bless you, man, for real. I really appreciate this."
