People often receive hilarious and unique gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. It's wonderful to have great mementos of our bonds with family and friends. However, it's unusual to arrange for a hilarious and unique gift to be given at a funeral, but one grandma did exactly that. She ensured that people at her funeral were given an ouija board with a humorous comment.

Her granddaughter posted a picture of this ouija board on Twitter and the platform users went absolutely crazy to have encountered it. The photo shows a small ouija board stuck on one side of a card and the other side has the words "Let's keep in touch!" written on it. It also has a picture of the grandma sticking her tongue out and giving the finger. Her granddaughter, Gracie Perryman wrote alongside the photo, "Received this at my grandmas funeral. What an icon."

The photo was posted on October 19 and garnered more than 400,000 likes on Twitter and triggered multiple reactions. One user wrote, "This is amazing… I am going to do this when I die in honor of your badass grandma! May she rest in peace!" A user even shared their own experience on losing a loved one, "The last time I got to talk to my best friend, before ovarian cancer took her, I asked her to send me a postcard from her next adventure. I get little signs every once and awhile. It’s a nice thing so this just make the messaging easier."

Another said, "I am so sorry for your loss. However, this is the stuff of LEGENDS! And now, you have it to look at whenever you feel down." Yet another Twitter user shared, "I’m so sorry for your loss. My first reaction is that your grandma had a wonderful sense of humor, and her wanting to bring some light to the heaviness of grief is so sweet."

For those who aren't aware of what a ouija board is, it's used "to summon the spirits you want to communicate with, and they’ll move the planchette around the board to spell out answers to the questions you ask." There is no scientific evidence if these boards work, nonetheless, it was a beautiful and hilarious gesture by the grandma that everyone in her family will remember.

In another iconic funeral, a grandma had already laid out the rules for her funeral through a video on TikTok. Lillian Droniak, 92, shared in a hilarious TikTok video that she doesn't want anyone to cry too much and embarrass themselves in front of everyone. Moreover, she asked everyone to get drunk at her funeral and even take shots if they want. There was one rule that everyone found funny and interesting and it involves a woman named Bertha. She doesn't want her to be present at her funeral and demands she be "kicked out" if she shows up.

Droniak said, "I joke about death because it will happen to all of us, as scary as that is," and we "might as well laugh about it."
