Losing a family member is the most painful thing that one goes through. The amount of grief that comes with losing a parent is immeasurable especially if you lose them at a young age. Trudy King also went through the grief of losing her mother at an early age. However, she is now trying to reconnect with her mother by looking for the boy she died saving. She posted a video on Instagram to search for the boy whom her mother saved from drowning in 1993. "This is my wonderful young mother, Anne Michelle Savidge, who drowned to death in 1993. She saw two children struggling in the water and she was able to help the young boy, but upon going back for the young girl, she and the young girl lost their lives," King narrates.

She goes on to say that many people were present that day, but her mom went ahead and tried to help those children. "Everything about her character and the letter she wrote and the person she was and her ideology shows that she would have done that no matter what if I existed or not that's just who she was and what she was meant to do," shares King in the video. She wants to know more about what happened that day. "There's a little boy out there who's now a man and I'm making this video because this person's the only other person who can help me understand that day and who can share the trauma, the loss, the grief," the daughter explains.

King adds that she never got the opportunity to know her mother, but if people on the internet could get the video to reach that one person. She wants to understand her late mother a bit more from that day. "I want to know everything that still is well. I can still get answers," the woman concludes. King has captioned the video, "Please help me find the boy my mother saved before she drowned to death. Thank you." In a follow-up video, the daughter shared more details. She starts by thanking people "for following the deaths of Anne Michelle Savidge (Chelley) and Gillian Clark." King reveals that she now knows the names of Gillian's brothers. "We have n Big, Gilbert Jesse Clark Jr, GJ Walon Clark, Brian Clark and Michael Zane Gray," she shared the names but still had no clue who among them would be the boy her mother saved.

King then goes on to say that her mother died in Morgan Lake in New Mexico. Gillian was initially brought out of the water, but her stepdad put her back into the water, seeing her limp body and blue face, according to a news clipping in the video. King shares that she now knows why the girl's stepdad gave her back to the water. "The Dine people have a very rich history and how they've developed these superstitions and why they hold them so near. I very much can also understand if this young man doesn't want to talk to me or even contact me," the woman expresses in the video.

She mentioned in the caption, "Chelley handed the boy off and went back to grab Gillian's body and in that moment, she was taken too. They were both pulled out of the water as quickly as possible, my mother first and CPR began until she was taken in a helicopter, where she was officially pronounced dead. I watched the majority of this from the shore until SherrI's two children took me back to the car. The boy she saved is the last person who ever saw her face, who ever heard her voice."

King's friend, u/chickenfeathers1987, posted the video and information on Reddit to find this man. u/BigConsideration4939 commented, "I'm sorry for the loss. Hope her memory lives on through her bravery. I hope you all find the family and get more info. May y'all get the closure you're looking for. Best of luck, strangers." u/The-Real-Deal2023 wrote, "Have you thought of checking obituaries during that period in the town that it happened? Surely, the little boy would be listed as one of her survivors."
