Helen Mirren and Andie MacDowell flaunt their natural grey hair and own graceful aging on runway

The talk of the hour is embracing yourself just as you are. Now, say farewell to body-shaming, aging, feeling conscious about textured skin and so on. Unlike a few years ago, several celebrities are now promoting the same by openly flaunting and accepting the "imperfections" that are very much a part of their identity. Helen Mirren and Andie MacDowell recently made a very loud statement for the cause at one of the most important fashion events of the year.

Their stunning looks at the L'Oreal Paris Fashion Week in October took a stand for natural greying hair and flaunting just who you are proudly and beautifully. The L'Oreal Paris Fashion Show is held on a semiannual basis, showcasing a variety of styles and promoting their theme, "You're worth it."

With several prominent celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Camilla Cabello, Elle Fanning and more, the show saw a wave of gorgeousness sweep as the beauties owned the event. Mirren and MacDowell also graciously stunned the viewers with their stunning and sassy looks. Both actresses are seen confidently displaying their natural hair as they posed. Mirren was seen wearing a sequined gown dazzling with her naturally blonde hair left loose, owning the freedom of being herself.

Sharing a video of the icon walking down the runway with Fanning, @lorealparis captioned the heart-touching moment: "Queens Ellen Fanning and Helen Mirren walking their worth down the runway embodying sisterhood through ages." In the clip, the duo are seen walking together hand in hand with their bold and bright styles as Mirren completes the walk solo to flaunt her look. The 78-year-old has been embracing natural hair for quite a few years. Her posts on social media reflect her decision to maintain her natural hair just the way it is. 

Instagram user @vonbvb1 posted a picture of the ravishing Mirren with the caption, "Dame Helen Mirren swears like a sailor and does whatever she wants however she wants. Her recent entrance at the L'Oreal Fashion Show in Paris was both hilarious and elegant." MacDowell also sported a bold and classy look with black glossy leather trousers and a coat and her gray curls, adding a defining touch to her appearance. Flaunting her smile and confidence throughout her walk down the runway, MacDowell looked brave and wise, along with a whole lot of glamorous enthusiasm. Her bold eye makeup and natural look added to her gray, curly hairdo and one can not help but find the words empowered and elegant in her look.

The actress decided to go natural instead of dyeing her hair back in 2021. According to Woman and Home, 65-year-old MacDowell opened up about her natural hair, saying, "I am tired of trying to be young. I want to be old." Ditching the traditional serious catwalk, MacDowell put up her creative show as she owned the stage. With the backdrop reading, "Beautiful for my age" the star walked up in grandeur, showed off her bold look and stuck a few hilariously adorable poses.

The celebrity who recently starred in "My Happy Ending" and "The Way Home" also struck a pose with mind-blowing natural looks at the Cannes Film Festival. In a post shared by Festival de Cannes on Instagram, she is seen with her natural hair left open with a smooth and neat wave. The two actresses also struck a pose at the Cannes Film Festival last year in 2022 with their fun, natural and bold personalities.
