There’s no universal formula for crafting the perfect dating profile—people are free to express themselves however they like. But as with most things, there are some clear dos and don'ts. An anonymous man’s dating bio, shared by Right Wing Cope (@RightWingCope on X), went viral recently—for all the wrong reasons. A screenshot of his profile, captioned "Why can't I find a girlfriend?" sparked a wave of reactions online.

In his bio, the man comes across as both boastful and tone-deaf. "I make more money than you, and I'm fitter than 95% of America," he wrote at the beginning of his bio before he went on to set certain boundaries should any woman "swipe right." "If you have a 'guy best friend,' swipe left," the bio read. "I don't keep friends that are women and I have every ex blocked," he proudly declared. "That means no guy friends and all exes blocked," he further added, emphasizing that all this was a "boundary and not an insecurity." Next, he wrote about how he was "looking for something casual, long-term relationship" and gave certain information like his address, that he was a dispensary manager, and that he was 5 feet 7 inches tall.

He went on to talk about his inner circle. "I keep my circle tighter than your a**, good luck getting in, you've gotta be something special," he wrote before ending the bio with, "No sl*t. I don't have a Snapchat." People were infuriated by the bio, which was problematic on so many levels." The post went viral, garnering over 474k views. Many in the comment section compared him to Andrew Tate, an American and British social media personality who is a "self-proclaimed misogynist" as per BBC.

People in the comments talked about his problematic bio, "It's the fact they think this Andrew Tate type of attitude actually works on most women. The best they can hope for is somebody with severe mental health issues due to past trauma, who will leave them once they get well. No normal female 18 to 88 would read that and go 'ooft yeah please,'" wrote @trit0ps. Others pointed out that his insecurity stemmed from being a short man, "The 5'7" speaks volumes for his insecurities," expressed @SpartanGnasher. "This is a boundary, not an insecurity" is so funny to me," added @TheTonixman.

@aimeehogan8 added, "Well, he did say that he was an as*****. Lol! When they tell you who they are the first time, believe them." @JoshuaLaw18674 pointed out, "He's cutting out the riff-raff. Everyone should list their deal breakers to save time of both parties." @OTCishowwewin talked about the women, who might date him eventually, "Lol, there are some women that love that profile though. They'll gladly give up all their rights and freedoms for that. I guess they like what they like." @Home_Mentions chimed in, "All the young women I meet have told me flat-out they don't think they'll ever get married and don't even like dating. I cannot imagine why. It seems like the dating pool is just swimming with wonderful possibilities."
