Boyfriend asked their shared ChatGPT to decode a woman’s replies to his flirty DMs. He forgot his long-distance girlfriend could see every query

When people go to ChatGPT, they mostly ask questions about work, studies, or everyday problems. However, when Sunny (@sunnybeee._) from Korea logged into her account, she saw screenshots of a text exchange between her boyfriend and another woman. Well, her long-distance partner seemed genuinely worried about a shift in the woman's tone and turned to ChatGPT to ask about the same. Upon further inspection, Sunny discovered that her cheating boyfriend had been talking to the other woman for 4 months, as she later detailed on Instagram on August 5, 2026. Her post has received over 2,500 likes on her page.

ChatGPT spilled the tea

The ordeal began when Sunny logged into the ChatGPT account she shared with her boyfriend. She noticed a peculiar-looking chat in the history. So, she decided to open it only to find out that her then-partner had uploaded screenshots of him talking to another woman. He was basically asking the model whether there was a change in the tone of the other girl's replies. Shocked and stunned, Sunny decided to dig deeper. She soon realized that her boyfriend wasn't just talking to this woman but flirting with her. As it turns out, the other woman had cancelled on Sunny's boyfriend's date plan at the last minute, which is why he asked ChatGPT whether she had lost interest in him.

Does he have to pay for the date?

Not only did he ask the system about a second date, he even asked whether he'd have to pay for it. Although Sunny had gathered bulletproof evidence of her boyfriend's infidelity, she had to wait for 5 hours before she could even confront him. Nonetheless, as soon as her boyfriend woke up, she asked him about the texts. However, his immediate response was, "Who's that girl? I don't know her." But after pushing him just a little bit more, he started making excuses. The man stated that he was merely helping the woman after her husband cheated on her.

No second chance

Hearing this, Sunny ended the call and broke down. Shortly after, her boyfriend came clean, confessing, "He has a problem." However, he tried to manipulate her by saying that even though he cheated, that didn't mean he didn't love her. Thankfully, Sunny could see right through his lies and chose not to entertain him any further. She broke up with him then and there. While it was devastating for her, as she was sobbing throughout the video, she believed it was the right thing to do.

Following this exchange, Sunny reached out to the other woman to explain the situation. "I have no feelings towards you at all. He told me it wasn't a date and that he was only trying to help you after your husband cheated on you. I think you deserve to know how contradictory that is, considering he was cheating on me," she told her. Moreover, in her caption, Sunny also confessed that her ex-boyfriend owes her around $16,188 and has been refusing to pay.

Crossing the line

That being said, even though her boyfriend would disagree, the majority of Americans do consider flirting with someone online cheating. In fact, according to a PureWow survey, a striking 84% of people believe that flirting with someone, albeit through messages, is cheating. Additionally, the study revealed that 94% and 98% of people consider kissing and sleeping with someone as infidelity, respectively. That being said, only 21% of people find flirting with someone in real life a form of cheating.

Meanwhile, reacting to Sunny's story, @ninthexu highlighted, "His departure will open so many new opportunities for you. Stay slaying girly, you're so pretty!" At the same time, @club5._ suggested, "That's a womanizer right there. Run! Girl, I really wish you'd find a person who loves and is patient with you. Lots of love."
