On the final day of their Finland trip, Jessica and Dani decided to make their “sweet” Airbnb host’s birthday special, ensuring he wouldn’t spend it alone. Notably, the Finnish man mostly spends his time alone at the rented property, away from his family. “Our Airbnb host was alone on his birthday, and God knew to put two women who care too much about birthdays to celebrate with him,” the text overlay on the video read. It showed Jessica and Dani cheering for their beloved host as he cut a small dessert adorned with birthday candles. The Dominican travelers, now living in Florida, were also seen singing a birthday song for the elderly gentleman.

During the heartwarming moment, the duo exchanged a hug with Tarmo before he blew out the candles and cut the cake. “Happy Birthday, dear Tarmo,” they sang, their voices echoing warmly in the quiet room. Additionally, the women, traveling to Finland for the first time, chose the Airbnb property after going through its reviews online, lauding Tarmo’s sweetness. “When we arrived, he was waiting for us with a cup of coffee and cookies,” Jessica remarked, appreciating her host’s gesture despite him not knowing their language. In fact, the Floridians relied on translators to communicate with their host, making their stay easier. “Tarmo invited us to see the reindeer at night, and each day, he welcomed us to his home with coffee and cookies,” Jessica added in the captions.

Tarmo lives alone with his dog at a small house near the Airbnb property he manages.
