People are adding many customized details to their wedding. A personal touch to the decor, food and other things connects guests to the couple's story in unimaginable ways. This couple also found a beautiful way to tell their story through cocktail napkins at their wedding. The bride shared in the video that this was the most 'commented-on thing' at their wedding and they received several compliments for it. The cocktail napkins at the wedding had scans of love letters the pair had exchanged over the years. People simply could not stop gushing over this beautiful detail. The best part, the napkins only cost 100 dollars. The couple, Megan Frederick and Lawson Builder got married in May 2023 in the presence of several family and friends, which took place in Spain, as per Business Insider. The video featuring the sweet detail received 3.4 million views and over 260k likes.

The couple are high school sweethearts. Hence, the notes have been a significant part of their relationship. The bride scanned the notes and put them on the napkins so the guests could read them. "My husband and I began dating when I was a sophomore and he was a senior in high school. We would write each other letters and notes once he left for college and we were temporarily long distance and from then on, writing notes, cards, etc. were a part of our relationship," she told the outlet. She shared that she has kept every note safe ever since as each note is a part of their story.

"I thought that using little snippets from them on our cocktail napkins would be a sweet and sentimental way to honor the years of love we have shared," Frederick explained. The couple picked out their favorite lines from the notes the wife shared with the outlet. "Mine was, 'Meg, I could be with you forever, that's how happy you make me,' from a letter written in 2012, and his was, 'I love, love, love, to laugh with you—It's what we do best,' from a Valentine's Day card I wrote him in 2016."

As the scanned notes appeared in the couple's handwriting, they looked even more personal and touching. In one of the videos, Frederick explained the entire process of getting the cocktail napkins done. She shared that she is the kind of person who saves every note, card and photo. Initially, she was not into the idea of cocktail napkins, but after coming across a couple of lines from the letters, she had an idea that she simply had to act upon. She scanned the notes on her iPhone and removed the background on Canva. The 27-year-old shared that this was her favorite thing at the wedding.

People took to the comments to share their views on the idea. @montanacolvin wrote, "I'm doing this but with all the texts from our arguments." @lgd523 commented, "As someone named Lawson, I did a double take when seeing my name on the napkin. Cutest idea ever." @soosupersam remarked, "I wish I saved my boyfriend's note when he gave me his number." @casseywild expressed, "I mean, that is the best thing I've ever seen in my life."
