Groom moves everyone to tears with beautiful vows to his stepdaughter: 'You will never be alone'

The relationship between stepdads and step-children is not celebrated enough. But one stepfather made sure to make his stepchild feel like the queen of the world. He wrote beautiful vows for her and read it to her before turning to make his vow to her Mom. In a Reddit video, he can be seen going down on his knees during the wedding and saying, "Autumn, someday you are going to stand up here wearing a pretty dress just like Mom until then I hope that I can show you what true love looks like and I hope that I can show you what kind of a man you deserve to marry." In the clips, the girl can be seen standing with her mother and stepdad while he is looking at her lovingly, then there are clips of her dancing and her stepfather spinning the child.

He continues, "I promise to always believe in you, to always support your dreams and I promise to always hold your hand and walk by your side. You will never be alone because you will always have your stepdad. I love you," the girl responds, "I love you too" he puts on a mickey mouse ring on her finger and they hug.  

Internet users felt that he was going to be a good role model for the child. A user wrote, "We know that a good parental figure is important for a woman not to lower her standards in her future relationships and that the parents' relationship is a model for the children's future." Another user wrote, "I think it’s very sweet. When I remarried, it was very important to both myself and my husband that we say vows to my sons from my first marriage, because it wasn’t just about the two of us. We wrote the vows together, and it’s my favorite memory from our wedding." Another wrote, "Yeah I thought it was really sweet, I almost teared up when they started crying."

In another heartwarming video, a man plans out a proposal for his partner's daughter after proposing to his partner. In the Tiktok video, the child is seen entering the room and the mother shows her the ring and she says, "It's pretty!" She then asks, "What happened?' The daughter continues to run toward her mother's fiance. That's when the fiance proposes to the girl,  "So I got a really important question. Can you be my daughter? Can I be your daddy?" he asks, as the girl gets emotional and says yes! The two hug adorably as the man says, "I'll love you forever, I promise. And I'll take care of you and everything."

Many users on the Internet were emotional after watching the video. A user wrote, "Could bring tears to the eyes of a statue. Something about little children that's just pure." Another said, "I'll love you forever I promise.' aw, too warm for my cold heart!" Another user wrote, "Brah the girl got a ring and all the kid got was a Wii remote! Joke aside, if more men were like him the world would be a better place."

Some also shared their own experiences. A user wrote, "My stepdad wrote my brothers and I into his vows when he married my mom. He understood the stepdad assignment well. They divorced after 15 years and he’s still a major person in all three of our lives."
