The bride is a Brazilian speech therapist and her fiance surprised her with special guests who made their wedding day even more beautiful.
Usually, the brides look forward to enjoying their wedding day surrounded by friends and family. However, Cinta Bonfante got the opportunity to be lucky and to celebrate it with a few more special people. Bonfante is a Brazilian speech therapist and her fiance surprised her with special guests who made their wedding day even more beautiful.
As a speech therapist, she extensively works with children who have autism and Down Syndrome. Knowing how much she cares about her patients, Bonfante's then-fiance asked a few of her Down Syndrome patients to be ring bearers at their wedding, reports My Modern Met. The ceremony happened in March 2020, just before the pandemic. The fiance, José Vitor Flach, planned this special surprise by reaching out to the mothers of Bonfante's patients through Facebook.
In the video posted on YouTube, the priest asked for the rings and the children started to walk down the aisle. The bride could not hold back her tears and thanked Flance for the beautiful surprise. First, a boy walked in holding the hand of a young girl, followed by two more girls wearing beautiful white frocks. In the end, two little boys came in, sitting in a car. The couple took time during the ceremony to interact with each of them.

Luciana Rocha Rech, one of the kid's mothers, said, "We were scared because children usually get stuck and they didn't have any training. But they were impeccable throughout the ceremony! And the emotion for us, parents, is inexplicable." "It was gratifying and moving," she added. Just before the kids walked in, the bride was scared that her fiance had forgotten the rings. "I squeezed his hand as if to say: 'God, you forgot!' And that's why I was so emotional!" she shared.
Not knowing what her fiance had planned, the speech therapist earlier had even made her husband ask the priest if they could have the children from the church whom she treated, but the priest refused. She told Revista Cresce, "Since we don't have children in the family, I didn't want to invite anyone else to bring the rings." So, they decided Flach would bring the rings in his jacket for the wedding.
Talking about the amazing work that Bonfante does with kids, Rech said, "What these professionals, like Cíntia, do in our children's daily lives is priceless. You can tell she is passionate about what she does. She cares about how the child is doing at school if they are following the instructions if they are being careful. She puts her heart into it."
Cut to 2024, the couple are parents to a boy named Miguel. She continues her practice as a speech therapist and often shares tips on Instagram (@fonocintiabonfante) to help parents in southern Brazil. She told the outlet about her work, "Oh, it's a lot of love and dedication. I put myself in the families' shoes and understand the difficulties they face in ensuring that the rights of people with disabilities are met. I show a lot of affection to the people I treat so that they can evolve and overcome their difficulties because, with love, everything is possible."
