Grandson has priceless reaction after granny shows up at his work to surprise him on his birthday

It’s crazy how we’d do anything for our loved ones. Right from sharing, sacrificing, traveling the world and more, it is love that pushes us to go the extra mile for those who are close to us to bring smiles to their faces. It is these gestures that make up for kindness and add hope to the world. Showing that you have each other’s back, no matter what, is what we call true love and a great example of this was seen in a video shared by @saniimmanandhar on TikTok. The video is of a young boy working at an eatery, who got a heartwarming surprise after his granny showed up at his work to be with him on his special day. 

His grandmother came to work to surprise him. The video showed the elderly woman at the counter, where the boy was working, and as soon as he turned to attend to her, he realized it was his beloved grandmother. He was overjoyed looking at her and got a little teary as well. His grandmother, being a sporty spirit, began to sing “Happy Birthday” to him. Her cheerfulness and joy added to the atmosphere and the gleaming look on the young boy’s face. 

The bond grandchildren share with their grandparents is a gentle and wonderful one. The emotions that filled the boy upon seeing his grandma may be something we can relate to. That was not all, the boy’s grandmother was so hyped up that her chirpy vibe soon enraptured the other staff and customers present there. Soon, many people at the eatery joined her in singing “Happy Birthday” in a truly lively manner. If anything, this grandma surely knows how to light up a celebration. 

Several comments followed the platform for the boy and his wonderful grandmother. Many even recalled their fond memories with their grandparents. @tanyasingh said, “My grandmother recently passed away. I’d do anything to be able to see her and hear her voice again. Cherish this moment.” Reacting to one of the comments, @saniimmanandhar posted part two of the video. In this clip, the boy is seen coming out of his counter and giving his grandmother a long, big hug. It was his way of showing gratitude to his grandma. It is safe to say that she felt the nostalgia of being the little boy wrapped in his grandma’s arms.

It’s amazing how we always look up to our parents and grandparents and depend on them for the smallest things no matter how old we grow. The co-workers too, were all smiles and you could tell that she certainly lit a spark in the room. The comments on this post, too, were beautiful. @Mamapey said, “I miss my mom. She’s this kind of grandma to my son and all her grandkids.” Many also commented about how they wish they had more time with their parents and grandparents.
