The free-spirited toddler did everything in his power to enjoy the fishing trip to the fullest and left the internet in stitches.

Little kids can be really fun to be around, as their cuteness and curiosity towards mundane things spark joy among adults. However, if they decide to have their way, in no time, they can leave the adults running behind them to stop getting into more trouble. Similarly, a 1-year-old boy who went on a fishing trip with his grandparents also added playfulness and drama to their trip in the most hilarious ways, which has left the internet rolling on the floor with laughter. The series of videos were shared by the boy's mom, Katelynn Norris Ordone–who goes by @kate_ordone on Instagram.

"After things went south..." the text overlay of the video read as the toddler named Preston was running around and having fun. "We have to stop, okay," the mom told Preston. "Okay," he agreed. "No, I am serious. Okay means no, okay." Preston again agreed but still proceeded to run away and dunk himself in the pond as his mom grappled to stop him from getting hurt. "We are going to go catch a big fish with Lovie, okay?" Ordone asked her 1-year-old, who dutifully agreed to her request before doing exactly what he wanted to do. The family started praying together before fishing, but the toddler refused to put his fishing rod down to join them.

"Say, Dear Jesus, I want to catch a big fish today, okay," the mom began. But Preston was already busy catching fish, splashing water with his rod and saying various colors out loud as he seemed to be having the time of his life. "These fish aren't even biting. Time to go for a swim," she wrote down her son's thoughts as he willingly slipped into the pond to play in the water. "Alright," Ordone said before she stopped her son from going too far into the water multiple times after he kept jumping in. Eventually, the mom had to get into the pond to get the boy out. "Alright, I feel like something is going to come and bite me," Ordone admitted.

"Poppie to the rescue," the text overlay read as Preston's grandfather held him by his overalls and took him away from the pond while he kicked his legs. "My parents wanted to take Preston fishing, so I let them. Knowing good and well what the outcome would be." The mom uploaded another video from her grandpa's perspective, who asked Preston in the car, "Do you want to go fishing with me?" The boy quickly agreed to it, but the grandpa knew little about what awaited him. "OMG...you fishing pole thief," the text overlay read when the toddler started screaming because his grandpa was trying to help him. He eventually gave up before the boy started jumping into the pond and then he eventually took him back.

People express their thoughts on the toddler's fun shenanigans in the comments. @s.mone_love21 wrote, "Lol, you caught the fish, sir. He's got brown overalls, no shirt and an adorable smile and laugh." @beautyishername143 commented, "I know your washer and dryer are working overtime. If there is mud, he is gonna get all up in it." @pettynetty83 remarked, "You said do you wanna go fishing with me and he heard do you wanna go fishing for me."
