Grandpa has the absolute best reaction when his wife of 60 years tries on her wedding dress again

In an age where love between couples rarely lasts long enough to reach the wedding stage, some old couples are shining examples of how certain marriages remain strong over the years. A TikTok creator, Ali Odom (@alibrookea), took to the online community to share a wholesome video of one such couple. Odom's grandparents have been married for 60 years but it seems the love between them has only grown with time. In the video, Odom captured the day her grandma put on her timeless wedding dress after 60 years and how it still fits her perfectly.

The video shows Odom's grandma walking towards the living room where the rest of her family and her beloved husband are sitting. She appears in front of him to present her surprise and gives him a little bow. The grandpa appears visibly enchanted by his wife in her wedding dress as it must have brought back some sweet memories from their big day. We see him admire her with a wide smile on his face. The video garnered over 22 million views and counting and Odom aptly captioned it: "60 years and he still looks at her like that." The comment section was flooded with people wanting to see more pictures of Odom's grandparents together.

Odom shared a second video which compiled some of their pictures, from their wedding days to the early years of their relationship. The compilation of pictures in the video shows the lovely couple through the years. There are some black and white snaps from their wedding day. The couple, who were once young, can be seen sitting under a tree, immersed in a conversation in one of the pictures. In another picture, the couple is seen holding their baby in a blanket. The video also included some individual shots of Odom's grandpa and grandma from the time they were possibly in their late 20s or early 30s. The comment section gushed about how gorgeous the couple looked together and that Odom's grandpa is still deeply in love with his wife of 60 years.

Aerin who goes by @hyper_piper_ on TikTok, shared the footage of the couple as they stood on the porch of their house. Their sweet conversation started with the husband saying to his wife that they were so fortunate to have a family. "I remember asking you to marry me and I was so happy you did," he added, as his wife of 60 years laughed at this. She went on to hug and kiss him on the head. "We have done a lot together but it's slowing down," the woman said, as she appeared to unlock the door. Truly enough, these senior couples continue to inspire the new generation with their selfless love for one another that stood the test of time.
