The text overlay reads, "POV: You are the eldest daughter." She quotes a popular speech by Nicki Minaj, "Do you know what inspires me? Fearlessness and drive. I hate lazy people. Barbz, stay in school. Don't you ever be lazy, don't you ever complain about hard work. Work hard, it pays off." @raytshenyego shared, "Definitely doing this with my younger sister. Congratulations on your achievement." @butterfly_tasha3 expressed, "Congratulations, sister. You are definitely the motivation I needed." Another individual, @heyitsbish, commented, "Doing this next year with my daughter on my graduation of my third belt. Congratulations, dear." @anikie6 said, "My little brother said on my first graduation, 'I want to appear on TV like you.'"

It was only a few days back that young graduates from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth received a pleasant surprise from their commencement speaker, Robert Hale Jr. He is the founder and CEO of Granite Telecommunications and made quite an impact at the ceremony with his speech and a $1000 gift for each student. However, there was a condition that came with the gift. He was also awarded the UMass Dartmouth Chancellor's Medal for his excellent philanthropy work

In his speech, he highlighted to the students how they would face many failures in life and even revealed how he almost lost a hefty $1 billion overnight.  He said, "Don't fear failure, understand that it's just part of the process and if you use that fear of failure to motivate yourself you'll be better." Right before the degrees were conferred, Hale Jr. shocked everybody by announcing that he and his wife would give $1000 in cash to each student who was graduating. He explained, "We want to give you two gifts: the first is our gift to you, and the second is the gift of giving."

The CEO pointed to a truck and said that there were roughly 3000 envelopes that contained $500 each. All students would receive two envelopes. One was for themselves, and the other was for charitable causes. He stated, "The greatest joys in life that we have experienced have come from giving. We want to share that gift of giving with you today." The audience erupted in a big round of applause when they heard this announcement.
