Gorilla has an adorable and calm reaction to little kids playing videos for him on Ipad

Animals are known to have their unique intellect and traits, which many people enjoy exploring. Gorillas, in particular, display much shrewdness in their actions and behaviors, especially towards human beings. It is a delight to watch them understand and comprehend behaviors and more at a different wavelength. Gertie Music–who goes by @gertiemusic on TikTok–shared their delight with Jelani, a gorilla from Louisville Zoo who stole their hearts with his charm and welcoming behavior. What got the family head over heels was the gorilla’s love for electronics on which they bonded.

In the video, the gorilla is seen in several glimpses of absolute surprise about the advancement of technology through mobile phones and other electronics. While Jelani is behind a transparent glass shelter at the zoo, he has been bonding wonderfully with visitors due to his keen love for electronics. In an earlier video, the gorilla is seen curiously glaring at a smartphone while some visuals play. The caption read, “Peaceful Jelani hanging out with his humans.” The gorilla seemed to be taken aback by the advancement of a rectangular device being able to play something interesting to watch.

In the recent video, he is seen as calm as if to say he’s mixed in with humans. The video captures two little children holding an iPad outside Jelani’s space and the trio were soon engrossed in what was displayed on screen. Jelani watched just like a little child, along with the other two kids. The kids were in awe of Jelani, who was simply baffled by the large screen and entertainment. It’s hard to tell what was going on in the furry creature’s mind, but he was surely loving it. While the kids took turns holding the iPad for Jelani, they also looked at him and tried speaking with him. They also used gestures and signals to communicate with him.

The little boy in the video is seen placing his tiny palm on the glass surface to interact with him. What stole the hearts of many was Jelani coming closer to the surface and changing his position to lie down and reach his hand to the level of the little boy. As he continued watching in his relaxed position, he also reached out his hand and knocked on the surface. However, this was not just a knock out of the blue, the smart Jelani was communicating with the kids, asking them to change the video. He repeatedly kept knocking, indicating to the girl to change the video.

When the video of what seemed to be that of a gorilla played, Jelani stopped knocking and got back to being engrossed in the iPad. The adorable video has gained nearly 52M views and over 3M likes. Viewers were bewildered by his friendly and loving behavior towards the kids. It was both amusing and wholesome to watch the gorilla connect with the kids in his own way over an iPad. @elaineenjoyslife said, “Me thinking I could cuddle with the gorilla and my iPad.” @joshmclane36 said, “He’s tap swiping, they learn so fast.
