She was on a honeymoon road trip when she received the worst call of her life.
Love is a feeling that has the power to transcend time and space, which is why even after the death of a loved one, the love itself does not end — it only transforms into a different form. The cherished moments turn into memories, and verbal communication transforms into “signs.” Alex — who goes by the username @ostebograms on Instagram — shared a video where she witnessed something unearthly. When her dead sister’s fiancé scattered her ashes in the foundation of his new home, a sign appeared, making her feel the presence of the deceased.

A few months after Alex got married to the love of her life, she was checking off her bucket list on a road trip all over France with her husband when she received an unexpected call. What turned out to be a heavenly vacation for her transformed instantaneously when she heard about her sister’s untimely passing — and thus the cars were abandoned and flights were taken to hurry back home. Almost every moment of Alex’s life since then has been spent grieving about her sibling, as we can see through her Instagram feed, where she shares their memories with her, and signs that she may be sending from beyond.
Alex shared a video of one such major sign, which we simply cannot overlook. Her late sister Denali, who was engaged, built a home out of love and promise with her fiancé — but after her passing, he sold the place and decided to build another house to start afresh. However, he had one request for Alex — he wanted to scatter specks of Denali’s ashes in the foundation of his new home to still have her presence. A few days after scattering the ashes, a unique sign appeared on the cement wall — a heart-shaped patch — making Denali’s loved ones believe that she could be watching over him and his new house.

When a loved one passes on, the only way we can remember them is through our memories of them. Even though it's they who are gone, a part of us that only awakened in their presence also dies — and to hold on to that, the signs we see from them help immensely. Bill and Judy Guggenheim talk about After-Death Communication, or ADC, in their book “Hello From Heaven!” The book consists of in-depth research based on the direct or indirect communication of a deceased person with their loved ones.
According to the book, some of the most common types of ADC include sensing a presence, feeling a touch, hearing a voice, smelling a fragrance, visions, experiences during sleep, and more. Additionally, research by Anna Castelnovo and others reveals that seeing signs or feeling their presence can often be a wholesome experience for the grieving person, helping in their healing journey. Alex and her family, including Denali’s fiancé, must have felt a sense of calm seeing her evergreen love reflected on the cement wall.
After watching the wholesome video, people shared their personal experiences. @kazstar30 wrote, “My dad's favourite meal was corned beef. I couldn't stand it. At his wake, we went to a pub and they had a meat raffle. Yep, I won the corned beef. I laughed so much.” @abundance_gatherer expressed, “When my best friend passed unexpectedly, I chose a 'random' book to read on Audible. The last chapter was on 'coincidence' and synchronicity. I was like, 'okay' and let the credits roll for some reason. I kid you not, the book was published by Llewelyn worldwide. Llewelyn was my BFF’s first name. I had never even met a Llewelyn…” Finally, @former_furnari commented, “My dad passed away almost 6 years ago, and I have been convinced he sends me hearts as I find them everywhere. Seeing this video just confirmed to me that the hearts I’m finding really are from him.”
