The woman shared that she and her boyfriend had walked to meet his parents for dinner when her new shoes began to bother her.
Sometimes the little things that we do for our partner can mean the world to them. A video that was recently shared on TikTok by Tabitha Jo, known on the platform as @ttabithajo, showcases just that. In the video, a boyfriend is seen walking home in his girlfriend's red-heeled shoes while she is seen sporting his white tennis sneakers. The video has since gone viral, amassing over 1.5 million views. "Kings don't let their queens walk home with a blister," Jo captioned the video.
Speaking with Newsweek, Joe said that her boyfriend, Henry had taken a walk to meet his parents for dinner when her new shoes began to bother her. Somehow, she managed to make it through most of the night with several blisters, before she realized she couldn't walk anymore. That is exactly where her loving boyfriend stepped in. "Before I could suggest calling an Uber, Henry was already removing his shoes and offering to wear mine home," she said.
Turns out, this was not the first time that Henry went out of his way for his girlfriend. The couple shared that while the two were in Las Vegas, Jo had asked Henry to wear her shoes. "He even opted for the pair with a slight wedge as he felt they offered better support," she said. The confidence that Henry walked with while wearing the heels was praised by the streets of Chicago as well as the Internet alike. "He received a lot of smiles, claps, cheers, and even a few car honks as we walked through the busy River North area," she said.
Many took to the comment section and expressed their thoughts, "You have to get him his own pair now, I fear because he slayed," writes @Robin. "How are so many men the same shoe size as their girls is my question with this trend," wondered @britp.
As mentioned, relationships are less about grand gestures and more about paying attention to little details. In another heartwarming incident shared by Niamh Gallagher—who goes by @nniamhgallagher on TikTok, a boyfriend is seen filling his drawer with women's products. In the video, the woman shows a well-stocker drawer with some essentials that women often use.
The first thing that she holds up is a menstrual pad, then a bottle of micellar water, which helps remove makeup, as well as a hand cream. There are other things like, a deodorant, a lip balm as well, and a white scrunchie in the mix. Speaking to Newsweek, she said that it's a thoughtful feature that her boyfriend made for her while she stayed over at his place. "It made me feel very special," Gallagher, who hails from County Donegal, Ireland, told the outlet. "I have always had difficulty feeling like a second option with people in the past, but Kieran's constant reassurance and gestures like this one show his love is as pure as gold." Needless to say, the internet was absolutely floored.
