Girlfriend makes boyfriend a teddy bear out of his late mom's sweater and his reaction says it all

Losing someone dear is one of the hardest moments in a person's life. During these difficult times, we appreciate those who never fail to remind us that mourning people are still loved. This girlfriend is one such person. She came up with the perfect gift idea to surprise her boyfriend after his mother passed away a while ago. Her boyfriend's vulnerable reaction to the gift demonstrated just how much it means to him.

Juless, who also goes by @jewleetah on TikTok, usually posts about her boyfriend and his cat, Kozy. One recent upload of hers received 944.5k views and more than 183.1k likes. Wondering why? With the help of @jinsbears—an Etsy store that turns "memorable fabrics turned into bears," she made her boyfriend the best memory teddy bear out of his mom's favorite sweater after she passed away. She captioned the video, "The face change when he realized." 

The text overlay on the video reads, "He lost his mom a little while ago and I had this bear made from a sweater she often wore." In the video clip, we can see him open a carton box while sitting in the car. He opens the box and takes out a green teddy bear. After staring at it for a few seconds, he realizes it is made out of his mother's sweater. When his girlfriend confirms this, he smiles and his eyes glisten with nostalgia as he embraces the teddy bear and reaffirms, "The green one?"

"It's so cute, isn't it? It's so pretty," she asks him. "Really? I remember this sweater," he replies remaining awestruck. He gives his girlfriend a hug and the moment remains a warm one. "For context: the anniversary of her passing is this weekend so," Juless revealed in a comment. People on TikTok found his reaction heartwarming. "I bet his momma is so happy knowing he has an outstanding partner, and knowing she is thought of... This is real love," wrote @Edith. "When my sister passed we made bears from her shirts. I ended up giving them both to my brother and he needed them more than me at the time," shared @bug_soupe.

The video was also shared on Reddit by u/Rollo_Tomasi3000, where it gained over 78k upvotes. u/Jewleetah recognized her video and commented, "This is my boyfriend!! This is my video!! I used Jins Bears on Etsy!!" Many people shared similar stories while others got inspired by this gifting idea. "My husband passed last year from cancer, I jumped on the internet and ordered one for myself and his parents. Thank you for this idea, will give me something to hold when I miss him at night!!" wrote u/Brilliant-Hospital62.

"The look at that moment makes me think he just had the realization he wants... no, NEEDS to spend the rest of his life with her.
