Stranded with a dead engine, Riley made a plea to MrBeast, and he did not disappoint

When faced with a broken engine and a totaled car, it can feel like the universe is working against you. You experience that heavy, familiar sinking feeling where it seems like nothing will go your way and optimism feels completely out of reach. In a moment of pure desperation, a woman named Riley (@rileylovesguineapigz) decided to take one last chance by reaching out online. On July 7, 2026, she posted a video of herself crying next to her broken SUV, asking internet philanthropist MrBeast for help as her "last resort." Over three million people have since viewed the video, as what happened next was completely unexpected.
It all started with Riley's car breaking down, leaving her stranded with a vehicle that was likely a total loss. Faced with an expensive disaster, she decided to quickly film a video of the broken-down car. With very little hope, she uploaded it to TikTok with the caption, "So our engine just broke. This car is probably a total loss. @MrBeast help? My last resort." This seemed like a long shot because Riley didn't have much reach. But the internet soon did its thing.

Somehow, within a matter of hours, her clip crossed 200,000 views, and one of the viewers turned out to be none other than MrBeast, Jimmy Donaldson himself. He spotted her plea and, instead of scrolling past it, he left a comment saying, "Just DM'd you!" That was that, as the single comment changed everything. After that, MrBeast got to work doing what he does best — helping people like Riley in times of distress.

He didn't waste any time after reaching out to Riley and went straight to the local car dealership. He then picked out a brand new SUV and filmed a response video, right from posting it on Instagram. In the clip, the vehicle is seen being loaded on a truck while MrBeast is saying, "Riley, I just walked out of the car dealership with your brand new car. I saw your TikTok, and I felt really bad that, you know, your car broke down." He then pointed at the car and stated that it would be delivered to her wherever she lives.
Well, this isn't the first or the last time MrBeast has helped someone in need or financial distress. In fact, through his Beast Philanthropy initiative, the YouTuber has successfully fed over 8.1 million individuals. At the same time, the non-profit's logistical network has processed and delivered more than 55.8 million pounds of food and delivered over 46.5 million meals all over the world. This goes to show the kind of impact that he has created and why people like Riley feel the urge to ask him for help during tough times.

Nonetheless, people were left baffled by seeing MrBeast actually respond to Riley's cry for help. @elwallgren wrote, "Well I got humbled…I was like, there’s no way Mr Beast responds to this stuff; I was wrong. My apologies and best of luck to you." Meanwhile, @DamnedOlEvilBlueEyeDevil commented, "So my pride really does get my way of shooting my shot lol"
