Having boundaries and knowing that it is okay to stand firmly by them or to ask people to respect them is an important piece of information for a person. It is especially important for young kids to know the concept and to get people to respect their boundaries. It is also necessary for kids to learn it properly. A young girl teaching her little sister about boundaries offers a lesson that even adults could benefit from. The video of their interaction was shared by their mom, Autumn Grace (@honestlyautumn_ )on Instagram.

"My oldest trying to teach our youngest about boundaries," the text overlay of the video read as the older sister sang a song about boundaries to the younger girl wearing the same pink dress as her. "Please stop, I don't like that," the older girl began. "I am feeling uncomfortable. I need more space." She also told her sister not to take it personally as it was just a boundary. "Just a boundary," she sang before screaming, "She's not listening to me." As the older sister sang the song, the younger one simply danced around, ignoring her sister's words. Nonetheless, the older girl seemed to be trying her best.

The caption of the video reads, "But for real, I love that this song helps kids learn how to set healthy boundaries! It’s called 'The Setting Boundaries Song' by Hopscotch Kids!" The video of the kids learning about boundaries received more than 14 million views. People took to the comments section of the post to express their thoughts on the importance of the song. Few others were also impressed by the older girl's way of teaching things to her younger sister and her patience with the process.

@_sara_sladn_ wrote, "I'm so happy with the fact you censored their faces. A way to document their life without fully exposing them on the internet! More parents should do this." @gracicarli commented, "This video has it all... a pug in the back, clearly back from Safari, a sister jamming all over her sister’s boundaries, and the main character, three going on 40 with that last pronunciation of boundary." @sweetrhoga remarked, "Baby sis is like, girl I will be invading your space and ignoring your boundaries for at least the next 20 years. Now, come on, let’s dance because your song is jamming!"

@allthesmokey shared, "Lol, 'THAT'S A BOUNDARY' is the best because not only can she set boundaries, but she is completely aware and comfortable to express the boundary crossing and frustration." @super_nanny_123 expressed, "The next time someone asks how you can dance to a song because you love the beat but do not pay attention to the words, I’m going to send this video." @alchemybyamna pointed out, "I’m mad I wasn’t taught this at her age that could’ve avoided years of resentment and heartbreaks, and I probably wouldn’t have ended up becoming a psychologist myself." @asarididi said, "She loves the rhyme at least, so she danced to it. What a nice way to teach them, though. The disinterested look and attitude of the dog, though. Must have seen scenes like this far too many times."
