Girl dad has the perfect response to man asking why 'dudes are painting their nails'

As parents, dads often develop a soft corner for their kids. Those who are macho and strong for the world are ready to do the silliest and gentlest things for their kids. Even in their masculinity, dads bring a heartwarming aura, all for their kids. When a man posed the question, “Why are men my age painting their nails?” girl dad Kevin Lawson (@kevin.lawson), had the best response. He stitched the video with the man and another girl dad. Soon after the man posed his question, a dad came into the frame with his toddler girl painting his nails. He seemed invested and delighted at their little salon playdate and remarked, “Huh?” 

Lawson added to the reaction by saying, “I second that. Huh!?” The fine gentleman was busy with his daughter on a playdate. However, the dad revealed that he was lucky enough to level up from painting nails. “Girl dad over here too but we graduated from the nail job,” he proudly exclaimed. The duo were engaged in getting a full face makeup done for the dad. Starting with foundation, the young girl intently began to get his makeup done. The dad, as wonderful and cooperative as he could be, patiently sat and showed interest in what the girl was up to. 

Each time the dad tried to turn his face towards the camera and speak, the daughter, very adorable yet assertive, pulled his face back into the setting. There was a serious makeup session going on and it required the dad to be focused. The daughter went on to apply concealer and highlighter and was taking the entire routine professionally to deliver a classic look. Lawson enthusiastically played along, asking his daughter about the many products and even holding the palettes up for her to comfortably apply. After half the look was completed, the dad took a second to flaunt his face to the camera with the cutest smile. 

The girl hilariously pulled his head back and got to doing his eyebrows. Wondering where the look was going to go and what would remain of his natural eyebrows, he chose to hesitantly trust his daughter’s budding skills. The daughter moved on to blush, powder and all other products, leaving her dad baffled yet smirking hysterically. His energy was splendid and was what made the entire scenario epic. Coming to the eyes, the dad was super confused about eyeshadow yet let his girl have her way. She tried to get a classic smokey eye, leaving the dad looking adorably hilarious. 

Coming to contouring, as the girl was contouring his head, he got humorously offended. Almost whining, he asked, “Why do you have to be so aggressive!?” Almost done with the look, the daughter finished with nude lipstick. “Why are you being so aggressive? Do you want me to like to perk them up or something?” he asked as she struggled between laughing and applying the lipstick. The final look was soon complete and people were bawling and in awe of the dad. “You look pretty,” the mom exclaimed. @lissat772 wrote, “Do you feel Bonita? Because you look, Bonita!” @celtickitchenwitch wrote,” I love how she kept grabbing your face aggressively. That girl meant business!”
