Rather than toiling for hours writing a long paper to get those credits, this student decided to slay with a dance performance.
College is fun for many people but they also cannot overlook the workload of assignments and projects. However, some students are blessed to have professors who make education easy and entertaining. Recently, 20-year-old college student Kenzie Greene–who goes by @kkenziegreene on TikTok–shared a video of their professor's hilarious options for students to earn their credits. What made it more amusing was how a student daringly chose the most unconventional option and also ensured to slay it in front of the whole class.
Green, who was seated in her college class, captured her professor talking about the midterm options the students were given. "Okay, class, remember you had two options for the midterm? Option one is a 15-second dance," the professor said. When asked who preferred to choose the dance option, a student in the front row raised their hand. "Okay, come on up," the professor agreed and the student in a pink dress walked up to the front of the class. As she stood ready to dance, the professor played peppy music aloud in the classroom.
The student gave a high-energy performance filled with lively moves and even some acrobatics. The whole class watched the 15-second performance silently and once it was done, the student awaited the professor's response. Giving a slight nod, the professor continued with the class and asked, "Option 2 is a 15,000-word paper on the implications of AI for biomedical engineering. Who chooses option 2?" Surprisingly most of the class raised their hands, choosing to work on the paper rather than do a 15-second dance. The video went viral with over 63 million views and more than 113,000 comments poured in.
People were amused at how most students chose to write the paper rather than opting for the easy way out. "As a strong introvert, I would buy myself 15 seconds of shame just to not stress myself out of deadlines," remarked @jeybizznesss. "Once in college, the professor said if anyone stood up and sang a song, then we would all get 100 of the homework and not have to do it. Nobody stood, so I got up and sang 'You are my fire, my one desire,'" chimed in @drakedoestech. "I don't dance. But the way I'd have done the full choreography of Hamilton to skip that paper," added @mommacusses.

With the dance video going wildly viral, Greene recently shared a video of her professor's yet another hilarious option to get out of working for extra credits. This time, it was a musical performance and the professor's condition was that the students must get the lyrics right.
For this challenge, many students turned up and as the lyrics were playing behind them on the screen, the students tried to sing the songs with their eyes closed. While the ones who sang it right were given extra credits and tickets to Zach Bryan concerts, the ones who got it wrong were sent back to work for the credits. "College is so unserious sometimes," Greene mentioned in the caption, which was indeed accurate considering her professor's unusual yet fun-filled way of grading students.
