She suspected her husband was having an affair after their daughter was born; she just never expected that it would materialize this way. Inside the garage of her house was a box containing a pink kids’ toy. Printed on a label of that box was the name and address of a woman. At this time, her daughter was just 10 months old. She didn’t resist, she didn’t fight, just filed for divorce with her husband and quietly moved out of his life. In a July 15, 2026 TikTok story, she described the episode, leaving viewers’ hearts wrenched with sympathy and rage.

Parenting just ‘wasn’t for him’
In a May 23 video, Kinsey shared a montage of family photos relaying the story of how her ex-partner passed the buck and painfully slipped out of her life. According to Kinsey, her husband began the affair when their daughter was around three months old. By the time the baby was seven months old, he allegedly admitted parenting "wasn't for him." Three months later, on Christmas, she said the final piece of the puzzle fell into place. He said that he didn’t want to spend the festival with both of them, but rather his parents. But when her parents confirmed that he wasn't with them, it was the last nail in the coffin. Kinsey called the lawyer to draft the divorce papers.
Worst Christmas gift ever
Her worst fears became reality when she returned home after spending Christmas at her parents’ house. Kinsey was combing the garage to find some tools when she spotted a box containing a pink kid’s toy. On the box was the name and address of a lady. Kinsey believes the toy had been purchased for the other woman's daughter. On June 13, Kinsey shared that the divorce had been finalized and that she had moved into a 1944 Craftsman cottage, where she and her daughter were beginning a new chapter.

Pregnancy is a sensitive time for every woman, but according to psychologist Robert Rodriguez, the author of “What’s Your Pregnant Man Thinking,” this is also the most susceptible time when 10% of the fathers-to-be are tempted to cheat their partners.
