Losing your ID proofs before a flight is a nightmare. But for a boyfriend, this loss was the result of calculated revenge planned by his partner. Ever since a friend spotted him cheating on her with another woman in a nightclub, Kelly chose payback over confrontation. She narrated her petty revenge in an episode of the 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath and Emma (@2dayfmbreakfast) podcast on October 26, 2026. Hosts Nathan Roye and Emma Chow said this is the “best revenge story” they have ever heard. On Instagram, the video has received over 45,000 views.

The petty revenge

The other day, Kelly’s girlfriend called her and said she saw her partner with another lady in a nightclub. Suddenly, her partner of 2 years, who was about to fly overseas in a week, found his passport, driver’s license, and other ID proofs completely “vanished.” When Chow asked her what she did with the documents, Kelly said she cut them up. At this point, Roye suggested that she could have sent him the ripped passport and documents. “I actually did,” Kelly said, prompting a roar from both the hosts. "Kelly, you have made my morning," Roye screamed.

Retaliation through property damage

The sudden onset of shame, hurt, and rage that erupts after discovering infidelity often prompts people to display revengeful behaviours. In this case, Kelly displayed this revengeful behavior by destroying her partner’s crucial documents. Similarly, a national spousal violence study by StatCan found that property damage is significantly prevalent in high-conflict relationships, post-separation tension, or severe betrayal. The study found that nearly 95% of women and 93% of men experienced property damage from their partners in addition to emotional abuse.

Meanwhile, netizens praised Kelly in the comments. For example, @june188644 commented, “I would love to do this with a partner too when they are cheating.” Similarly, @francessigley remarked, “Love it!” @babaloniousmunnsarella said, "I would love it if the boyfriend was listening. He’d have the last laugh."
