'He was going into my house while I was at work, and...' BellaDonna recounted

A strong relationship needs more than just loyalty. In fact, a companionship thrives only when both partners are honest, transparent, and, most importantly, respectful of each other's boundaries and personal space. Sadly, BellaDonna, also known as @dedevious on TikTok, experienced the complete opposite while dating a man a few years ago. During that relationship, she worked night shifts and came home at odd hours. All this time, Donna thought her then-boyfriend waited outside her home until she returned safe and sound. But on June 3, 2026, she posted a video, recounting how she discovered he'd been lying throughout — all thanks to PlayStation footage her boyfriend had recorded. Donna's post has received over 3 million views on her page.

The incident happened when BellaDonna worked night shifts and returned home in the wee hours. Her then-boyfriend, apparently, waited across the street at his parents' house until she arrived — at least, that's what she thought. Then one day, after BellaDonna returned home, they started discussing a PlayStation game. Upon reaching her home, her boyfriend pulled up her PlayStation and showed her a video, explaining that it was an update that was launched a day ago. The video caught BellaDonna off-guard. She snagged the controller from his hands and checked the video’s timestamp. The woman realized the video was recorded at 11:37 pm, hours before she returned home.

When BellaDonna questioned her boyfriend, he told her he was at his parents' home before she returned from work. "I asked him, I said, do you have a key to my house? And he was like, no," she recalled. This, however, didn't convince the woman, because she arrived home at 2:30 in the morning, and the video was recorded long before that. BellaDonna's brain started racing, and she immediately asked her partner whether he had a spare key to her house. After much reluctance, he finally confessed that he had made a spare key to her house behind her back. At last, BellaDonna realized that for three months he had used the spare key to enter her house, and lied to her about waiting at his parents’ house. "Every single day...he was going into my house while I was at work. He would do whatever the f*** because I don't know. That's how I found out that I was dating a f*** crazy person," she confessed.

What BellaDonna experienced is a classic example of intrusive behavior — something a study (by Asuman Buyukcan-Tetik and others) said occurs when people put their self-interest, need for autonomy, and privacy over their partners. This often breaks personal boundaries and violates basic privacy rights, even though most couples believe it is extremely important. In fact, according to Kaspersky's survey, 8 in 10 people believe that each person in a couple should have the right to privacy, both offline and online. Now, the reason why BellaDonna felt betrayed is that not only did her then-boyfriend breach her privacy by entering her house without her knowledge, but he also pretended to care for her by waiting outside until she returned.

Meanwhile, viewers responded to BellaDonna’s story with speculations about different scenarios. For instance, @madam_noir said, “And you didn't notice something was off at home? Lol, I notice when my office chair moves.” @overflowingdivacup reflected that the very fact that he waited outside her house was a red flag: “Nah, my spider senses tangled when you said he was waiting for you after work.” @quew73 commented, “Cameras with real-time notifications are necessary.”
