Most men would love a blend of rugged yet creative minimalism with a tinge of chaos in their living space. That's probably why remodeled loft apartments could be the most intriguing and alluring catch for many men. The industrial look, laid-back comfort, and most importantly, affordable price often feel like the sanctuary of men reflecting their individuality. While this may still be a dream for many men out there, one Gen Z man made this dream come true. The 26-year-old from the Netherlands who goes by u/Electrical_Still6207 on Reddit shared glimpses of the remodeled factory loft and it is absolute property goals.

In the Reddit post from earlier this September, the man mentioned that he bought this loft from an old factory almost a year ago. Not sure if it's the designer's craftsmanship or the Gen Z's creative acumen, but the loft apartment's end results were simply stunning. It consisted of a studio living room with a kitchen space attached and a cozy sleeping space in an elevated corner. The entire apartment was splendidly ventilated with large bay windows overlooking the city. Also, a compact yet comfortable working space and bathroom underneath the elevated bedroom.

Several aesthetically pleasing interior designs adorn the living space and surely can't be missed. Though the ceiling of the old factory was retained giving it a rustic interior look, the rest of the space was decorated tastefully with shades of blue, brown, black and white. To top it off, there were a few houseplants uplifting the vibe. This post went viral on the platform with thousands of upvotes and comments. The Gen Z man confirmed in the comments that this apartment was in Eindhoven, Netherlands and revealed that it was a former Phillips factory. He further answered tons of questions about how practical and feasible this living space would be.

When asked about the thermal regulation, he explained, "In summer it is a relatively cool place. No AC, but there is a floor cooling system. In winter, I use floor heating and the air gets pretty dry, so no mold or humidity problems at all." Speaking of how much he spends on heating, he mentioned, "In total, I pay about €100-120 (~ 111 to 133 USD) per month to heat the place and heat my shower/water." The most interesting part was that he designed the whole space himself and got help realizing it.

More curious men came piling up with questions. About how the Gen Zer bumped into this loft space, he elucidated, "Just in a 'regular' way. I don't know about USA listing situations." He added more details saying, "There is some street noise since it is somewhat in the city center and the windows are not fully soundproof. However, I almost cannot hear my neighbors ever. I don't need a car. It's a Dutch city, I can do everything by bike or public transport, or walking." Making one's dream a reality is no easy job but this man was determined to convert the old and rusty loft space into a chic living space.

"This is like one of those places you see in films and TV shows and think 'Yeah but nobody actually lives in a cool place like this,'" quipped u/Dramatic_Wolf7091. "I will never understand how people buy a loft at 26. I can barely afford rent in my country and I’m considered middle-class here. It looks awesome! Love the way you left the ceiling unpainted, and it’s so good you added those plants!" lauded u/bucskesz. The Gen Z homeowner who goes by Wisse (@w.isse) on TikTok also shared glimpses of the stunning loft apartment on TikTok and it's a sight to sore eyes.
