Going on a holiday is always exciting, but as an employee, one has to go through the hassles of dealing with work responsibilities first. One has to ensure they won't be disturbed by their boss or co-workers for any reason. Even after sending out an "out of office" message, chances are, work will follow us on our vacation. But one guy named Joshua Kessel—a Marketing Lead at Butter Insurance who goes by @joshfrommarketing on TikTok—tackled this issue most hilariously. "Josh From Marketing" often shares hilarious office content and recently, a video of Kessel's "out of office" email went viral.

As the video begins, an employee from Butter Insurance can be seen opening Kessel's email. "Our Gen Z marketing guy set this as his out-of-office," the text overlay reads. Kessel's video starts with a simple message, "I'm out of the office," and features an airplane in its background. Then, Kessle himself appears and asks, "Are you rolling?" before starting to speak. "If you're watching this, I'm probably on a plane to Europe right now," the marketing guy said. But he didn't stop there. He also ensured to share with his boss and co-workers alternate ways of contacting him during his vacation.

"Here are some answers to frequently asked questions," Kessel said. The first doubt that most co-workers would have was when he would return to the office. Josh subtly skips the question without giving a definite answer. "Two: if you're a recruiter my personal email is...," says Kessel and a beep sound can be heard. He didn't even want to be disturbed by recruiters through his personal email. "And three: for urgent inquiries, send me an email and I'll look at it when I get back," Kessel quipped with a straight face. The video ends with a dramatic "We'll be right back" message like the ones from vintage TV commercials.

In just a couple of days, the video gained 14 million views and people were amused by this "out of office" email idea. "The guts these Gen Z kids have. Me crying in millennial anxiety just asking to use my annual leave," remarked @caffinethoughts. "He's definitely that superior generation right between genz and millennial," said @l3rt3n. "That's creativity at its best. If I do this at my soul-crushing agency, I'd be fired. I long to work for someone like him one day," chimed in @thekristinairl. "I feel like this is something Micheal Scott would do in 'The Office,'" added @user6205061913623.

The Gen Z marketing guy's nonchalant attitude didn't just end there. In another funny video, Kessel showed us the best hack to "make sure we have a stress-free holiday," and it's all every employee needs. Entering his boss' office, Kessel records himself on his phone's front camera while saying: "Hey guys, can you watch my boss for a little bit?" His boss was completely perplexed, not comprehending what he was doing. He simply placed his phone with the camera facing the boss and proceeded to pick up his bag and leave for his holiday. His boss couldn't help but chase after him, wondering why he left his phone at the office.
