In the video, siblings can be heard conversing in the car while their mom is recording them. The girl named Violet says, "She is a really good drummer," referring to G-Flip. The other child, Levi, quickly corrects her and tells her the right terms to teach his sister pronouns, reported PEOPLE.

Levi explains to Violet, "She's not — it's not — a she or a he, she's non-binary — well they're non-binary." Violet then asks him what non-binary means and he confidently gives her a response as their mother smiles, listening to their conversation. "It's when someone feels like they're a — they're not a girl or a boy," he tells her before saying it in his own words. "Or sometimes they feel like they're a boy and a girl, so they're both." This time Violet gets what her brother is trying to tell her and immediately corrects her initiative sense, "They're a good drummer." Levi cheerfully says, "That's more like it!"

Throughout the video, G-Flip can be seen laughing, listening to the children and also applauding their understanding of gender identity that even adults fail to comprehend. The video has an overlay text which reads, "If kids understand it, then so can adults."

The video went viral and received about 2 million views and 309k likes. It is captioned, "Most mornings, I wake up to hurtful messages and comments about my gender identity, but today, I woke up to this. I cannot stop crying. This is so unbelievably beautiful. Well done Levi & Violet and exceptional parenting."

This makes my heart happy." @bluebird75 wrote, "As a mum to a non-binary legend I LOVE this so much. I have sent it to them as they struggle at times." @_rachelbarbara pointed out, "This literally just shows that hate is taught! Letting the children have their conversation and education allows acceptance, so sweet." @calamitousthoughts expressed, "Kids get it so easily, adults choose not to. I’m so hopeful for the future."
