The electrician was in disbelief when he finally heard the news about the house. 'His life is about to change completely in the next few minutes.'
A person might find friendship in the most unlikely places and decide to do something wonderful for their friend. A group of friends did something similar for their electrician when they told him they were building a tiny house for their sister and wanted his help. It turns out that the electrician was actually working on a home for himself and his family. The man was in disbelief at the reveal and was touched by the gesture. A video detailing the surprise was shared on the YouTube channel, The Professional Idiots (@The_professionalidiots)
"10 weeks ago, we started converting this abandoned container into a tiny home for our sister Gabby," the person began. "At least, that's what everybody thinks. In reality, we've just tricked our electrician into building his own family home." The electrician was right around the corner, getting ready to surprise the sister. He had no idea that "his life is about to change completely in the next few minutes." Before telling him, his friends broke the news to his kids, who had been hidden inside the container for the big surprise. The kids simply couldn't believe the person who was telling them that the house was for their dad. His son kept repeating that the house was for Gabby. "That's why our pictures are up here," the boy concluded after he was convinced that the house was indeed for his dad.
The person revealed that they didn't even know the electrician, Dan, about six months ago. Yet, one of their friends, Josh, was preparing to surprise their sister with Dan while the other man explained everything to the internet. "This is easily the craziest thing we have ever done, and it is all because of him. He has quickly become one of our best friends." He added, "He has put blood, sweat, tears, late nights, everything into this project and never asked for anything in return." At that point, the man was living with his parents and sleeping on their sofa while his kids had a floor bed there. They finally revealed the news to Dan, who saw his kids holding up a banner that read "Welcome home," and immediately broke down.
"No one deserves this more than you," Josh told him. "Oh my god, you guys have done me so good!" Dan exclaimed as he went inside the house. "I actually felt like my heart stopped for a massive second," the man expressed. "We've done it; we have built it. My kids built some of it." The friends even replaced all of the man's tools because they had been "demolished" during their bus project. The caption read, "This is the biggest secret we've ever kept!" People took to the comments section to appreciate the wholesome gesture.
@chrisparti wrote, "The fact that he was grafting so hard for what he thought was someone else's benefit makes it so much more deserved." @wyrunuts commented, "As an electrician for almost 40 years, I am very happy for this man. Thank you guys for helping him and his family." @Zimoria remarked, "Sometimes it's easier to pour your blood, sweat, and tears into a project for someone else, but then to receive that same project as a gift for yourself shows you that you're worth that same level of love and passion as well. I love this for Dan. I'm glad he's home."
