'That's divine intervention with the way he just ended up right in front of the camera!'

Kayla (@kayla.nicole.g) got one of the most unanticipated shocks of her lifetime on a cruise, the footage of which she recently shared on Instagram. Her friend, who had been sitting in the same room as her, was watching the recording on the ship’s live camera when she suddenly brought her attention to a man in the footage. The camera was focused on Kayla’s boyfriend, but his one gesture made her run to catch him. Her September 2026 videos have been liked by more than 12,600 viewers combined.

The camera reveals the truth

A video recorded beforehand captured Kayla asking her friends why there were cameras at all on the ship and what purpose watching the lido deck served for them. Later, however, she saw something that probably caused her to thank the cameras. “Oh, my God!” This was Kayla’s first reaction the moment she spotted her boyfriend on the screen. The footage captured him slinging an arm around the shoulders of this woman before walking with her on the lower deck.

“Who is she?” one of her friends in the room mumbled. “She’s giving him her number,” another interjected. “He’s giving her his number,” one cried out. “Stop! 911! Everybody go to the Upper Aledo deck right now!” Kayla exclaimed and ran out of the room. When her friends exclaimed what he was doing with another woman, Kayla quickly radioed the rest of her friends to come and meet her boyfriend together on the deck.

People see no problem in spying on their partners

Kayla is one of the 65% of the women who have busted their partner’s affair with the aid of technology, as a survey by IllicitEncounters found. 38% of the women keep tabs on their partners with surveillance devices, which help them catch the affair, if there’s one, red-handed. While Kayla had an automatic surveillance camera at her disposal, others who don’t have one are not shy about purchasing one if they suspect infidelity. A survey of more than 21,000 people across 21 countries by Kaspersky revealed that 30% of people have no problem secretly monitoring their partners.

Kayla’s video hit viewers with mixed notes. @el.sa.li.sam commented, “Girl, that's divine intervention with the way he just ended up right in front of the camera!” @_So_much_sarcasm_ joked, “‘That’ is why there are cameras on the ship.” “That’s probably just his cousin or friend from middle school chill,” said @maybeadelisandwich.
