For anyone who still doubts that being a pro gamer could be a career, this Fortnite player just paid off all of his mom's student loans during a live stream. Aydan Conrad has a whopping follower count of 1.4 million on Twitch and earns significant money through the streams, per IGN. The streamer called his mom during one of his live streams and gave her the news. The mom was in tears because of her son's kind gesture.

The gamer called his mom and after greeting her he said that he would like to give her a late Christmas present as he hadn't given her one yet. The mom replied that he had already done a lot for her and she didn't need anything more. To this, Aydan said, "Well, it's too late, mom." He added that all her school loans have been paid for. The mom was shocked for a second but replied that it wasn't possible. She continued that her loan wasn't a federal one and her son couldn't have had access to that. Conrad replied that he talked to a person called Lina and took care of the loan. The mother was really surprised and started crying.

The gamer expressed that he was able to do this because of his followers and that they should give themselves a pat on the back. “It’s not me, it’s all the people that are watching my stream right now, they made it possible,” he told his mom. “Awww, I love them,” his mom replied. The streamer was also in tears hearing his mom cry on the phone. The mother-son duo kept telling how much they loved each other. It was certainly a big thing for both the mom and son. The mom said, "Oh my god, thank you so much. This is crazy."

The streamer again thanked his followers and said, "Again thank you guys. Without you, we can't do fun stuff like that." He continued that he was very thankful and never spent his money poorly. His biggest expense recently was an expensive watch, otherwise, he likes to take care of his family with the money. Truly, Conrad's gesture was beyond thoughtful.

Conrad recently played in the Fortnite World Cup finals as per Polygon.com. The gamer earned $50,000 for finishing 37th in the Tier 1 of Duos play. He also earned another $10,000 teaming up with Robert Abisi of the DJ duo Lost Kings in the Celebrity Pro-Am. According to The Loadout, the gamer's Fortnite career has helped him earn $160,000 in prizes so far.
