Former McDonald's chef shares how you can get fresh fries every time from the outlet

Most people would want their fresh and crispy. However, sometimes, you end up getting slightly soggy fries, which is not for everyone. Mike Haracz—who goes by @chefmikeharacz on TikTok—who used to work at McDonald's, has been sharing numerous informative videos about the food at the popular fast-food restaurant. He has now shared a hack to get fresh french fries from any McDonald's outlet in one of his recent videos.

The video was in response to a query from @jess23a, asking, "Is it true you can get unsalted fries from McDonald's? It's a good way to have fresh fries." The man replied affirmatively, saying, "Yes. This is a great strategy if you want fresh fries." Haracz mentions how fries are regularly cooked in most outlets, so they would not be too old. Even then, one can take the extra effort and ask for "unseasoned fries." Alternatively, individuals can let the employees know that they are willing to wait for fresh fries.

However, this hack can also be used for other food items on the McDonald's menu for freshness. Haracz shares that "unseasoned burger patties" have to be made fresh since all of them have to be seasoned once they're cooked. The chef also mentions that the round egg is the only egg that is freshly prepared at the restaurant. He says, "Replace your folded egg and replace, you know, the scrambled egg, which is a liquid egg product in the restaurant."

 He concludes by saying that the round egg was probably the best way to eat eggs at McDonald's. People on the platform loved the useful tips and shared their thoughts in the comments section. @mike_m.87 commented, "Back in the early 2000s, you could ask for a hot McChicken/nugget and they would put them in the grease for 30 seconds." @humm_ingbird shared, "Yes! I've been doing this forever, so they are hot and fresh."

It was only sometime back that a kind-hearted McDonald's cashier paid for a man's order after his card was declined. Jason Mosier happened to be on his way home when he stepped into an outlet to grab a quick bite. In a Facebook post that he shared, the man details how his card did not work for his order that cost 8 dollars. He says, "Before I realized it, the cashier Hayden took his debit card out and swiped it and said, 'I got you. Don't worry about it.'"

Mosier tried to make the cashier void the payment, but he insisted. He only had 4 dollars on him, which he gave Hayden and promised him that he would be back. The man thanked the youngster, grabbed his food and went to his truck only to look into his bag and find 4 dollars that he had given him and a receipt that said, "Have a Blessed Day." Reflecting on the wholesome gesture, he writes, "Well, young man, you did bless my day. Thank you and never lose that giving heart." The man then wrote how he went back to get a picture with Hayden so he could "brag on him."
