The woman revealed in her video that she used to be a house cleaner before she went on to become an inspector.
Cleaning the house can take up a lot of time and energy and it does get difficult sometimes. One former house cleaner has some interesting hacks that could save us time. Cindell, who goes by the username @cindellkimbrough on TikTok, shared in a video how one can clean their house quickly and efficiently. She started by saying that she used to be a house cleaner before she went on to become an inspector. "I would inspect the houses that our house cleaners would clean and this is how we did it," she shared in the video.
She emphasized that this is the most efficient way to get an entire house done really fast. "I could do like 2,020 five hundred square feet houses in two hours," she said. She explained that she was talking about dusting floors, making the beds, everything. "Step one: One room at a time, if it's a big open space, make it into a room," she explained. She added that she makes herself do this since she has ADHD as otherwise she would be cleaning the whole day. She then started cleaning her kids' room. "Step one: Any clutter that's on the floor put it where it goes. I also count the nugget as the floor," she said. Cindell was then seen keeping all the things that were lying around in their allocated places. The mom added, "If there is something in the room that doesn't belong in this room you are not going to take it where it needs to go. You are going to set it outside the door," she explained.
Next, she asked her followers to choose a corner and work around the room. "So, pick a corner, put stuff where it should be, or clean it up," she said. Then she started to clean from one corner and then made her child's bed. "Now we're gonna dust again," she shared. She then took out a piece of cloth for dusting which she said she got from the car section of Walmart and can be washed. "I just want to get it a little damp. When you come to doors, you're going to do top to bottom," she explained. She began by cleaning from the baseboard and then went up the door before she did the inlays top to bottom. Then Cindell was seen dusting around the room, including the windows and table.
"When you get back around to the door that leads out to the house don't forget to close the door and do the insets of the back of those doors," she said. She then showed the kids' room she just cleaned and shared that all that was left to do was vacuum the floors. Next, she vacuumed the floors as well. Then standing near the hallway, she asked people to treat the little hallway also as a room. She concluded, "That is how you get it done quickly and efficiently." The video was captioned, "So glad I learned this cleaning system."
People in the comments found the video really helpful. @rewildrefuge commented, "This is so helpful. I have ADHD and do side quests when I’m cleaning and it takes forever! Trying this tomorrow!" @nathenaantoinette wrote, "Clean all day and looks like I did nothing trying to stay in one room is hard." @aggievegan expressed, “Oooh love that tip to not go put other items in other rooms. I always end up cleaning other rooms.” @bwhitman1 shared, “House cleaner here! This is the ONLY way to effectively clean. Also, leave other days for organizing, save big tasks for last! Like laundry.”
