Football team makes powerful gesture to support teammate's mother battling cancer

Being a cancer patient, one has to go through constant treatments and the chances of survival are something that can only be figured out with time. So, they need immense support from their family and friends. That's what keeps them hopeful and looking forward to life. In such a situation, a woman lost her hair due to cancer treatment and the son's friends did something that brought a big smile to her face. In a video posted on TikTok by @teamgrassroots, the woman can be seen opening a door and entering a barber shop and at first, she is smiling and looking at all the boys who have shaved their heads. She also removes her cap, seeing all of them. The text overlay reads, "One of the player's mums from this team lost her hair due to cancer, so the whole team shaved their hair to show their support. This was her Christmas surprise."

In a few seconds, the mom starts to cry and her son goes and gives her a tight hug. This special moment will surely leave anyone teary-eyed. The video is captioned, "They have shaved their heads in support of one of their moms who has pancreatic cancer. It was their idea, they organized it and then followed it through. His mom had no idea until she picked him up after his 'haircut!' What an absolute bunch of fantastic lads and friends.
