Farmer sells his cow to neighbor only for her to walk back because she missed home

Just when we think that animals don't feel complex emotions like humans, they surprise us by proving us wrong. The internet is full of adorable videos of pets expressing their deep attachment to their homes and owners. Recently, a cow has joined the club and her sassy reaction after the owner sold her to a neighbor is stealing hearts on social media. A farmer named Logan Waller who often shares the tranquil scenes of farm life posted this hilarious yet heartwarming video and it garnered over 10 million views.

In the 20-second video, we can see a black and white bovine walking amid the lush green fields. "When you sell your cow to your neighbor without asking her first, so she just walks back home," the text overlay read. The sassy cow marched straight into its previous abode not willing to move to another home. Not sure if she was mad at her owner for selling her but she sure made her decision clear to everyone by choosing the farmer's barn over a new home. "She was his (neighbor's) for about 7 seconds then jumped ship and walked home," the farmer mentioned in the caption.

More than 6800 comments came in with people showering their adoration for the bovine's sassy behavior. "She said immediately, 'No, I’ve seen what I need to see. I will see myself out,'" joked @usc1238286. "I would have been buying my cow back and apologizing for the rest of her days," remarked @kikievolving. "You can tell she’s upset. The way she didn’t pay any mind to you on her way back," said @hischichiparasiempre. Many were keen on insisting that the farmer buy his cow back from his neighbor so that she could stay at the home she loved. "Please tell me you bought her back! She was like, 'Nope. Grass is not greener and I am going home," chimed in @kathyadkins79.

Thousands of comments poured in asking for an update. People were quite eager to know if the bovine got to move back to her old home. As a response to @bsumbody2bsumone asking, "Logan I need an update. Did you buy her back successfully? Please," Waller shared a follow-up video a couple of days later. Turns out, the farmer bought his cow back from his neighbor and she was back at his barn again.

The wholesome video shows the bovine enjoying her time in the lush green meadows along with other cattle. "She is happy to be home," the text overlay read and true to these words, the cow was indeed feeling like home. This video too gained nearly 600K views and people were quite pleased to see the cow in its happy place. "My whole day has been made because a cow I've never met before got to go back home," said @adventuresofcharlierae. "Animals know a good human heart and love their person. Kindness is beautiful," added @oceansalt25.
