Proposals hold a special place in the hearts of a couple. While some people prefer to keep it simple, some go all out to make these moments memorable. During one such proposal, a Somerset farmer proposed to his long-time girlfriend in the best way possible. Tom Heal, the farmer, made an excuse that he had forgotten his dinner and would be out working late to call his now-fiancée, Chloe Morley. She took to Facebook later and wrote, "A quick tractor tea run turned into the most magical surprise of my life!" As Morley met with her fiance at Hinkley Point, she came across the letters "Marry me" that the farmer had carved in a massive part of his field to propose to her.

"I was in complete shock, but once it had settled after a few minutes, there were lots of tears," Morley told BBC. The couple has been together for four years and the marriage has been discussed for quite some time now. "[A proposal] has been on the cards for a little while, but I haven't known when, where, how or anything. I completely was not expecting it at all," the woman who currently works as a veterinary nurse expressed. Heal also ensured that the proposal happened at the golden hour, a detail reflected beautifully in the proposal photos.

The woman did not suspect a thing, as this was something that she usually did. "I hadn't been at work on the Friday and had been for a day out so was tired and at first was reluctant to rush out there with tea! But of course, I'm now very glad I did!" the veterinary nurse told Somerset Live. After meeting him, the couple talked to each other and Morley told Heal about her day. A bell rang only when the man asked her to get out of the car. "Then I looked behind him and saw the 'marry me' in the field, then it all clicked," Morley said. She could not believe her eyes and was in complete shock. The proposal the couple had waited for was here, mowed into the grass beautifully.

Heal's aunt, Jenny Heal, told the outlet that even the family had been waiting for this moment for some time and it would be wonderful to finally welcome Morley into their family. "We've all been hoping and waiting. And he did it in his true fashion," she remarked. The aunt added, "I don't think he could have done it in a better way. I'm thrilled and excited." The couple is set to tie the knot this September. The woman showed off her beautiful floral ring against the sunset in one of the pictures on Facebook.

The Facebook post received a bunch of congratulatory messages. Charlotte Scott wrote, "The best news ever! So happy and excited for you both! My besties are getting married." Lynn Solomon commented, "Oh wow, so pleased for you, Chloe. Love the way he proposed! Best wishes and lots of love to you both." Patricia Heal remarked, "What a great way of proposing! Well done, TJ. Bet Chloe couldn't believe her eyes." Kate Heal expressed, "Oh Thomas …that's so romantic. Love this. Very delighted for you both. Lots of love." Esme Salvidge pointed out, "Proper farmers, boy! Congratulations to you both. With love from the Salvidge family."
