The content creator proved herself to be a hardcore Swiftie with her ability to recognize the singer's songs from just their first note.
Every dedicated member of a fandom strives to learn as much as they can about their idol. Knowing all the lyrics to their favorite musician's songs so as to belt them out loud at their concert is a dream come true for fans. But this Taylor Swift enthusiast is a couple of steps ahead when it comes to proving that she is the greatest Taylor Swift fan or Swiftie the internet might have seen. Niamh Adkins, a social media influencer who is known for her vlogging, reaction and fashion videos, made a YouTube video back in 2021 to prove how well she knows every Taylor Swift song by heart.
Adkins collaborates with her fellow content creator boyfriend Joe Ando on this video, which is titled: "Guessing Taylor Swift songs within a second (my one talent)." In the viral video with over 420,000 views and counting, she gives Ando her phone, which contains a playlist full of every single Taylor Swift song that has been released till that point. Adkins asks him to play any song at random and prepares to guess them within a few seconds after he hits the play button.
It might be hard to believe for those who haven't seen the video that Adkins ends up guessing all the songs correctly as soon as she hears the first note of a song. The first song she guesses is called "I am Audrey" from The Lorax film. Next up, she correctly guesses "Jump and Fall", "Change" and many more. Adkins seems to take a bit longer to guess the acoustic version of "The Best Day: Taylor's Version," but she ultimately gets it right within the next few seconds.
"That was the sound of a plane taking off and you were like, 'Cardigan,'" Ando says expressing his astonishment when Adkins continues her winning streak at this guessing game. "Don't look at me, you got a girl at home and everybody knows that, everybody knows that," Adkins croons along with Swift's voice after guessing the "Girl at Home" track correctly. As Ando wonders how many songs Swift has, Adkins speaks about how Swift has blessed her fans with her seemingly endless list of songs and says she is feeling grateful for it.

She adds at the end of her video that if she had her entire discography of Swift at her disposal and had to go back in time to participate in Show and Tell contests, she would say that guessing Swift's songs so fast is her talent. u/jamcl31 reshared the video on Reddit, where the community was as stunned as the YouTube audience and left a bunch of wholesome comments appreciating Adkins' dedication towards being a Swiftie. u/Grouchy_Posession26 wrote: "I was getting like 50% of them, but nowhere near as fast as she was. Like I had to play through the intro and then to the chorus in my head and then I was like, 'Oh it's that one!'"
u/DragonsLoooveTacos suggested: "You can do this for yourself in an app called Song Pop 2! They have two Taylor playlists and you get about 10 seconds to make your guess, but the faster the better. It is really fun." u/DaisyLover16 added: "I love Niamh so much! I recommend watching her Folklore and Evermore reaction videos, they’re awesome too! The Folklore one legit made me tear up because of how much I could relate." A few other comments complimented Adkins' singing skills as well when she hummed a few lines here and there and even sang enthusiastically to some of her favorite tracks.
