Many people want to have a child but can not conceive for a variety of reasons. Infertility is one of them. So, when a couple who had struggled with infertility found a donor, they wanted to express their gratitude beautifully. They wrote a heartwarming letter to the egg donor and it was shared on TikTok by a private donation agency called YourEggs. The donor shared the note as, "a gentle reminder of" why she agreed to do it in the first place.

She received the note from the couple before she donated her eggs. It read, "To our beautiful egg donor, it's hard to put into words how thankful we are. After a decade of unsuccessful IVF attempts and heartbreaking miscarriages, we had almost given up hope." However, the moment the woman and husband saw the donor's profile, they felt "it was meant to be." The letter further read, "Your genuine smile and the video highlighting your lively spirit and zest for life stood out to us. Wherever life takes you, please know you've made an inedible mark on our lives."

The couple expressed they were committed to giving the best life to their child and everything they would need to thrive. They signed off with a "God bless you." Fan Yang, the director of intended parents at YourEggs in San Diego, California, told Newsweek that the letter came from a place of genuine love. "It is especially touching to see how the donor responds after receiving a heartfelt letter," Yang remarked.

"We wanted to show that egg donors are kind, normal humans and we hope they always feel loved, safe and appreciated. All our egg donors are angels, deserving of immense love and appreciation," the director told the outlet. "The donor who received this letter is from Florida, and this was her first time donating. She was inspired to help a couple build their family, and this letter made her feel so cared for and connected with them. She was honored to help make their dream come true," she added.

Yang feels that such interactions give both parties a chance to form a meaningful connection with each other, which is so important in such procedures. "I think it is so sweet and always brings me joy to deliver any gifts or letters to the donor. It's so meaningful for both the donors and the parents to have this emotional connection that is conveyed through heartfelt words in a letter," she pointed out.

"I just remember feeling flooded with gratitude and happiness. It felt like a weight was lifted, like all my work from doing the process was worth it, knowing that my donation was going to a kind family," the donor told the outlet. The director shared that she was glad they could spread awareness about egg donation through their social channels and receive such a positive response from people. @gennneivive wrote, "This makes me want to donate. Wow, so amazing!" Another user commented, "I would love to donate. I know I will never want to be pregnant. Maybe I will look into this process." @kayla_k_28 shared, "As someone who came from a donor egg, after years of my parents trying IVF with my mother's eggs and it not working, thank you!"
