Many of them took to the social media platform to talk about the peculiar features of this house which was listed on Rightmove.
It's not unheard of for people to scroll through sites like Rightmove merely for fun. The reasons can range from simple daydreams to finding inspiration for home interiors. While scrolling through houses for sale, an X (Twitter) user found a particular house that left him scratching his head. @MysteriosoX later returned to the platform to see if others shared his confusion about the photo. Needless to say, the internet met their expectations.
In a series of photos uploaded to the platform of one house, there was one picture of a room that many couldn't understand. The room, which had a seating area facing three doors, turned the entire internet into detectives as they sought to answer the many questions raised online.

Many then took to the comments of the post to share their thoughts. "I love listings like this, normal, normal, what on earth is that for? I thought maybe individual TVs but there's one in the corner. Not that they're watching, too busy waiting to see what emerges," wrote @balmer_tim. "I did not expect my hubby to be absolutely in tears at this. I’ve not seen him laugh like that in ages. [Here are my thoughts]: 1) Why are there chairs facing the doors and what are they waiting for? 2) Why have they built just one step that’s a foot tall, rather than two steps? 3) Why is the stairhead made of slippery marble designed to make anyone fall and break their neck, whether entering or exiting the doors?" added @TheMasterofGray.
They just really like playing out the Monty Hall problem in their garage.

Others raised further questions after looking at the weird room with doors.
"I think we all have questions....and most of us have some kind of answers in our heads too," said @HelenHampton. "The doors open up to reveal two-way mirrors that form the wardrobe doors in picture 16. The two armchairs facing the three doors are placed there for viewing purposes. I'm now going back to the site photos to play 'spot the hidden camera,'" expressed @dearaunty.
I don’t have any questions. Those are the doors the jack the rippers come out of

Is it a life size version of that game where you have to guess which cup the ball’s under?

It's not uncommon for people to find hidden features in places before or after moving in. In a similar story, a woman known on TikTok as @funkyglassworks talked about a unique discovery she made while renovating a spare room in her family's Arkansas home. During the renovation, she found there was more to her hardwood floor. She quickly realized that there was a pit for a hot tub beneath the floor. "Guess what we found under the floor in the house we just bought?" she asked.
After the woman ripped up the flooring and the subflooring, she found a hot tub below. But that wasn't it. They also found an entire indoor swimming pool. "Our current idea is to turn it into an indoor koi pond and atrium filled with plants while restoring the hot tub. But for now, it will be an indoor skatepark," she added in the text overlay of the video. The video she uploaded on TikTok garnered more than 12 million views and countless reactions.
