Sometimes, mistakes turn into a laugh riot for all the right reasons. It might be a fiasco on one end, but people might end up enjoying it regardless. A simple slip-up might even give rise to a trending meme. In the case of an eye-in-the-sky reporter who reports incidents from a helicopter, such a funny incident happened when he didn't realize he was live while giving a commentary on a speeding bike. The result was absolute comedy gold. The clip was uploaded on Reddit by u/TLKim.

As the speeding biker weaved through traffic, the reporter casually remarked, "That wasn't safe. That wasn't safe at all." The bike continued threading through streets and vehicles at full speed as the commentary continued. "That's for our CBS friends if they want to take us. I just put it up," the reporter continued. The video of the biker in neon green biker clothes was captured near the Silver Lake area. "Look at all that hair. Northbound 101, Northbound 101. Maybe it's a scarf," the man commented while making motor vehicle noises during his commentary. "Thank you, assignment desk, you made my Friday," he continued.

"Whoo, whoo! Splitting it. We are online. Hey, everybody, if you guys are just joining us, thank you first of all. Not a pursuit, oddly enough," he continued. "Well, actually, it's not so odd. Take a look at this. Motorcyclists, the only one, apparently, was started up in, uh, I am venturing to say the Altadena area." In the Fox 11 video, where the commentary continues, the anchor explained that he didn't want to poke too much fun at this as the motorcycle was going at a very high speed before it slowed down and eventually stopped. He even wondered if driving at such speed was worth it and how such chases usually met a very unfortunate and sudden end. "I am not happy watching this. There's a lot of crazy moves happening over there," the reporter commented.

"The person might be experienced but kind of pushing it to the limit," he remarked. Many people took to the comments section of the clip to appreciate the humor. u/BarredBartender commented, "I was expecting him to put on the MOST.OFFICIAL.NEWSCASTER. Voice. It was more like a podcaster going live or something. Didn't change his cadence at all. I can't blame him; he's swooping around in a helicopter chasing cars and motorbikes and getting paid to do a play-by-play. Those woo's hit, dude's having a good Friday."

So sometimes, he would mess around like that and talk to the FB/Youtube chat before it went on air on TV. He would joke around with the chatters before and after the TV feed. I’m sure he’s always aware that he would be put on live at any point in time. So he’s pretty much the same way on and off air. He always made live chases more exciting."
